I love Yuzu's galaxy brain. He congratulated Nate for his Olys goal and said he had what was required in the current FS competitive scene. However, the only thing Yuzu highlighted was the consistency of his quads. Yuzu did not mention jump qualities, spins, steps, PCS or anything else. It is very sincere but also very telling if we look at the factors he did not mention.

He can always create and star in his own ice shows, like Continue with Wings, or he can produce ice shows. I don't think there are any ice shows that would refuse him. With his genius mind, there is no limit to his involvement with anything on ice. I would not be worried about that. Personally I also would love for him to continue competing and get that 4A, but ultimately it all depends on him. I support whichever path(s) he chooses.

In that sense he is so much like Brian, who is also not the best at PR. Sometimes I just wish he would shut up and let Tracy or Ghislain answer the media.

What I got from various Spanish speakers on Twitter is exactly that, there is no ambiguity, he even demonstrated it with a pair of skate. There seems to be no room for misunderstanding. Disappointed, but what can we do. PS: He fuels me to up my game with Spanish. I gotta do it for Yuzu.

He knows, he has seen it for himself all these years how much media scrutiny Yuzu is under and how much of that has been torturing Yuzu. For him to come out and say that about whom he called a friend, whom represents class and integrity in the sport better than anyone else, is truly incomprehensible. Is it hatred, jealousy or what else that fuelled him saying so? Is he always like this? Disappointing, to say the least.

Yuzu said something about what happened in the last 4 years being the "price" for wishing for an Olys gold in Pyeongchang. If so, I hope this will be the end of it and that his future is marred much less by heartbreak, sad tears, two-faced "friends" and all other negativities. Spring comes when winter fades away; there is no night without end. I hope the dawn of a new spring will come soon to him in earnest. That young man deserves it.

He should have done that so we don't have to hear idiotic takes from idiotic, disgruntled, self-titled old men.

Say what you will about Anna's skills and scores, she is such a nice, level-headed kid (much more than those adults who proclaim to be level-headed) The fact that she gets why Yuzuru devotes his everything to the 4A when accomplished skaters and coaches like Yagudin and Raf can't just amuses me.

To be fair, Takeuchi himself at least has shown signs of supporting Yuzu. For instance, he stood with Kobayashi at the rink side to cheer Yuzu on. But, as a whole, JSF is a piece of shit, that much is true. Some tiny personal support that comes a little too late won't do it.
