This Troll Overlord must have thought about that crazy stuff at least once) There are many reasons why watching Yuzu live was so special to me. But it boils down to being a culmination of things i started since i was a mushroom (literally. I had mushroom haircut at that age lol) So of course i want to repeat it.

This is very true. I am used to being neglected by all the japanese i follow (which is like 70% of the things i like). They don't really care about success overseas, and those who do often change their essence and ends up being a completely different product than the one they present to Japan. We aren't relevant at all. I accepted this long ago but i have to confess that it never hit hard until i started following Yuzuru. That's another reason why i started learning japanese, breaking the language barrier gives you a bit of advantage as long as you don't mention you are a foreigner.

He wants to skate AND win. I think he is trying to do everything within his power to force the judges to give him fair-ish scores. And if they don't the world still knows what he deserved. That's why i can't picture him retiring because of shady politics, he knows there are things he can't fight against, but he's going to cover everything he CAN control. And there's just so much shady stuff you can do before people notice and protest. I know about that. If he stays for 2019 i have to be there. The plane can crash on the way back and i wouldn't care, i would have fulfilled my lifelong dream of visiting Japan and would have watched him skate for the last time (probably). And there's still Vancouver next year. As much as i would like to deny it, i don't feel like he will keep on going after 2019. Again, i hope i'm wrong.

See, this is one of the reasons why sometimes i'm angry that i have a life to take care of (believe it or not!)+i don't have tons of money to spend and can't watch him skate live as much as i would want to. Somehow i don't think that Yuzu is going to go out of Japan frequently when he retires, and i will really miss watching him skate. Add to that how hard it is to get tickets for ice shows and if we get streams it might be harder to get them and watch him. Unless he is considerate about his fans overseas but idk, i don't think he would do it it has always been my impression since i started following him. I hope i'm wrong.

I think i should make more swans then. Invade Japan, make them rain on the judges, inundate the JSF's offices... Someone should arrange them outside the venue spelling "Submit to the Pooh Overlord" You know, just innocent and not threatening stuff /s in case anyone thought i was being serious. But we totally need more swans in Japan.A token of appreciation from overseas fans.

Shit, i had a plan for Nationals too... Oh well, the swan invasion is still ongoing though. About that, i think it depends on his goals after PC. Somehow i don't see him giving up because of that. It's also my selfish desire as a fan. But should he decide that he's had enough, my heart would break but as long as he's happy....
