  1. I don't think I've seen that! Do you have a link to that shib/yuzu interaction?
  2. I'm no lip reader, but it looks like he's saying 'まじで?' which means 'For real??'. Zuzu put on the spot is hilarious
  3. It's like a massive fishing pole connected to a body harness that the skater wears. The 'harness guy' holds onto the pole and helps support the skater while they're up in the air mid-jump. Like safety wheels but for jumps
  4. In support of your theory, I remember a recent interview where Brian said Yuzu had been working on the 4A with the harness last year. The harness guy even said there were some attempts where he didn't have to do anything. I think Yuzu is pretty darn close.
  5. Oh no, Javi I didn't realise that the fans were so close. They were literally right on top of them in that fancam.
  6. Clearly I need to watch the Japanese Olympics broadcast- there are so many more cute Yuzu moments!
  7. He's 100% a Kaneki fanboy. If I ever see Yuzu skate, I will come prepared with a Kaneki plushie on hand
  8. I've been wondering about this recently: is Yuzu aware that he has a huge following outside of Japan?
  9. I'm from Sydney too! I'd love for Yuzu to come here Sydney is a pretty relaxed city. Although knowing Yuzu, he probably has zero interest in vacationing considering he hasn't been to Niagra Falls once
  10. It's important not to rest his ankle for too long as this can actually hinder healing. Rehab is very important for regaining optimum function in his ligaments. Don't worry, he'll be in good hands!
  11. Medically speaking, a diagnosis is a great thing! It's one step closer to recovery.
  12. That medical plan sounds pretty consistent with a second degree ligament tear. He'll definitely be back next season, that's for sure.
  13. Nah, if I had that kind of money I'd rather use it to watch every Yuzu comp I could
  14. I need more of Yuzu fanboying It's so different from his calm and collected image during interviews
  15. My favourite part is when he's rolling around in the chair while staring at his reflection. He's so precious
  16. So today I went ice skating for the first time in 13 years! The last time I was on the ice was in 5th grade and I remember being barely able to leave the walls. When I started today's session I was gripping onto the wall like a madwoman but 2 hours later I was able to skate without touching the walls at all! (albeit I was extremely slow and a little wobbly- took me 4 minutes to circle around the rink's perimeter) I'm proud of myself and I had a ton of fun! I'm thinking of going again a week or two, then maybe starting a 'learn to skate' program and taking it from there. I was so envious of the people whizzing by effortlessly on their skates! And then I imagined how amazing it would be to see Yuzu skate in front of my eyes My big toes hurt really bad though, even though I was only on the ice for 2ish hours. Is that normal?
  17. Awww, I didn't mean to bring it up Sorry!
  18. You're a legend, thank you! edit: Just realised why I couldn't find it I think I mentally blocked out CoC 2014
  19. Yes, that's the one! I've been scouring through his past comps looking for it, but no luck
  20. Hey everyone, I'm on a quest to find one of Yuzu's Kiss and Cry's where one of his Japanese fans yells out something and both Brian and Yuzu laugh. I saw it a few weeks ago but I can't remember what comp it was and it's driving me crazy
  21. Out of interest, I just looked through my old anatomy and pathology notes on ankle injuries. Obviously I'm not a doctor yet, but according to my notes it takes up to 8 months to regain 100% strength in damaged ligaments (obviously depending on how torn it is). I don't think it will take him that long though. It's unlikely he actually ruptured his ligament since he seems to have a fair amount of ankle stability intact. I imagine the plan for him now is to give his ankle time to heal for a few weeks and then start building up his ligaments' strength and function (propioception) so he reduces the risk of re-injury as much as possible. I wouldn't be surprised to see him back on the ice in a few months, but I hope he waits as long as possible to get his ankle back up to scratch. (unrelated yuzuticon but I couldn't help myself )
  22. Thanks!! Oh you bet I have. For the last few weeks, I've been spending my entire days off watching Yuzu content instead of studying and doing my assignments. Trying to slow it down a bit now to get back into my study routine, but it's hard when my mind always drifts to Yuzu
  23. Yes please to an Underarmour ad. I go weak for Yuzu in his training outfits.
  24. Will do! Thanks for the orientation! Oh gosh, I don't think I've got the talent or patience for video editing but we'll see
