  1. That bit is fine because it was thrown onto the ice. He just cannot have his usual tissue box with him, at the start. Lots of things are thrown so nobody can be directly accused of breaching the rules, it's just happenstance. Of course, this time around, he'll probably have a rain of them
  2. At the Olympics? He cannot have Pooh with him the way he usually does because of the Disney brand and the rules that exist at the Olympics when it comes to brands. You can still throw a Pooh onto the ice for him.
  3. Mmhmm, I agree with him. I am happy for her, I'm sure she'll treasure that. And work even harder, if that's even remotely possible! But honestly, I really hope she can snag that OGM and then she'll be relaxed. She has said she plans to stay to 2022 so she has 4 years to work on maturing as an artist and with less pressure too. Hopefully branch out a bit to peeps like Wilson or Shae, so that we get some amazing programs. Can't wait for Anna K at NHK, to see where she is at now, especially considering how she was sick prior to CoR.
  4. Oh he'll practice on Wed there but whether we'll hear much about it is another matter Unfortunately that goes for Thur too.
  5. Apparently I'm decent at playing darts? And believe me, I wish I would win the lottery, then we could all go and travel to watch FS! Ahh, dreams. Now that would be life! @Joey definitely keep going, woot woot
  6. Well, to me it comes a surprise, even if we consider the situation but Joshi has retired: http://skatesweden.se/sv/joshi-helgesson-avslutar-sin-karriar-och-satsning/
  7. I think it's the time zone issue, or at least I hope so. Come morning in Japan, hopefully there's more.
  8. Simply for fun too - if he could skate last .... and we're talking about Olympics .... then considering scores go wild ... I'd say that's the one chance of it happening. Even while keeping politicking in mind, even the judges would not resist scoring something that would go into legend for all times. And that would.
  9. Oh a good friend of mine has a sweetheart for a boyfriend who always wants to do things for her. Unfortunately, he's a walking kitchen disaster. Better not to ask. He hasn't blown up the apartment yet and everyone considers that a victory. There may have been a fire once or twice though.... so Yuzuru is just fine!
  10. Hey he didn't stick a whole egg, in a shell, into the microwave. He's good in my books.
  11. That won't tell us much about Satoko alas. She had her triples back in the summer but her stamina is the big question. If she has that back, she has less chances of URing (well, she's always prone but...) but practices won't tell us that. The rest should help though! We saw Polina just a week ago and I can say she looked great, better than in the 2nd round.
  12. Yuzuru aside, much like Zhenya, this is another close battle. Will Rippon land the 4Lz? My inclination is to say no, it did not look even remotely good and then there's the shoulder injury. So I'd say Jason is probably the closest to 2nd which guarantees him the GPF, huge success - and probably the one person in it without a quad. But then who gets 3rd? How recovered is Aliev? Questions, questions.
  13. It's probably one of the biggest question marks this season. Zhenya aside, who even gets second? If Caro repeats CoR performances, she has a strong shot but on the other hand, what is even Satoko's state? Her jumps may be back but is her stamina? Last season at NHK they did call her URs, but will they do so this season when so much more is at stake? The potential third, how are they going to score Polina? Her jumps looked fine at the 3rd CoR stage but what is going to be her PCS? I doubt they'll b Alina-high, which makes me grumble, but where does she fall in the PCS gradation? Of course depending on all of this, we'll have a somewhat clearer shot at what happens with Wakaba. For her, Caro in 2nd is probably the best outcome.
  14. Fair point. But what a way for all of us to go, ah? Of course, I can just see the news then - Members of a Yuzuru Hanyu cult were found deceased yesterday, in what is seems to be a mass death caused by an overdose of Yuzuru Hanyu. In a red costume. More to follow on this bizarre new phenomenon. *news-anchor spots a pic of Yuzu in red* *keels over as well*
  15. Wine red, that deep wine red.
  16. I would keel over and you'd have to do CPR but it'd be so worth it. Mmmmm.
  17. That new ghana thing just confirms one thing for me - he looks gorgeous, gorgeous in red and I will eternally sob quietly because chances of ever seeing him skate in wine red are pretty much zero.

Yuzuru doesn't work with Brian alone, or even just Tracy; there're other people there like Briand for example, who may even go to NHK with them, due to the jumps. She's really a fantastic coach so it'll be just fine, and most importantly she and Yuzuru work well
  24. Tracy Wilson is Yuzuru's full-fledged coach, in her own right.
  25. It's pretty normal to train combos too, so it's not a weird thing if he tries one with the Lz here and there. That's a given!
