I’m sure most regular people can’t really relate to the mentality of a champion but when champions themselves can’t crack the mystery of Yuzu’s mental strength, that’s pretty phenomenal! Even Brian said that in all his years competing and coaching he’s never seen anyone with such a strong mind. Don’t forget the smile.

@Henni147 I feel the same but on the other hand Yuzu is a strategic genius who experienced for himself the corrupt/incompetent judging of the past season and still decided it was worth it to continue. So, while I have no faith in judges I have an endless amount of faith in him. I also just really don’t want to be stuck in a depressing swamp and blind faith is more fun.

Still think the reason Boyang didn’t end up at TCC is because he knew Yuzu wouldn’t stop bugging him to land 5T. Guess with Boyang showing no interest he’s decided to have a go himself.

How many times have we all felt so miserable and defeated and scared of the r word only for Yuzu to come back with “I’m going to land x y z and win everything”? I’ve stopped worrying about his motivation to continue because he’s obviously mentally indestructible and trying to understand his brain is just a waste of time for us mortals. Everything hinges on that precious ankle but I bet he still believes skaters peak at 30. Anyway, Yuzu has always done something incredible the competition after being beaten by Nathan and this time the kuyashii is 9000 and his 4lz is back and he’s fixed that terrifying axis.
