yuzuonice

I came here to comment on Boyang (possibly) practicing at TCC but got distracted by the Max & Angelo video, so I'm now on a I.ESP rewatch spree (Does anyone know if there is there such a thing as a playlist with all of their commentaries , I'm using whatever is in Planet's Compilation thread) also, look at this comment of theirs haha, very relevant.

And because Javi was one of the first people he started interacting in English with, and because Javi is not a native speaker either, it's normal that he feels more comfortable than in front of the journalists. There are also some interviewers, like PJ Kwong who are able to make (short) interviews with him fun and stress-free. I think besides the ones that Xen named, also Deniss Vasiljevs posted about Yuzu being his inspiration for a long time when he took a selfie with him.

You know what this reminds me of? I was listening to a podcast with David Wilson (TSL trigger warning). It's an old interview, he says some stuff about Yuzu too, I'm sure you all have heard it (I'm just catching up on Yuzu stuff from the past). To sum up a little, he's complaining a bit about Yuna completely setting skating aside after she retired. He makes some assumpions & generalizations about "the asian culture" which I'm side-eyeing, but if we ignore that for now, he's saying how the ice shows these days are all the same, put together in 2 days and lack the soul & meaning etc. I want someone to show him CiONTU and see him react awwww, that's such a cute parallel, thank you @Hydroblade !

It's like this with my family too. I only managed to show some of my favourites to my mum, well she paid SOME attention to Yuzu so that's a good sign, but about Lambiel she said "He doesn't spin as good" when I pointed out his spins, mum please Someone should at least drag his ass over to Niagara Falls. (maybe he'll get inspired, who knows ) awww we finally have him on our side!!! (Don't be a stranger Patrick, it's totally ok to show some Yuzu love from now on ) Out of Yuzu's costumes, there are only some of the old ones I don't like, all the rest make my eyes sparkle when I see them, so beautiful (But a while ago I saw someone suggest that Yuzu should have more costumes like Shoma, and my instant reaction was: ) Before I even clicked on this, I could hear his voice saying "kya kya wa wa", I have it imprinted in my memory, so adorable aww! (I've really used the Multiquote function to its fullest potential haven't I Mods be proud haha) Also: A question: Why is it that us fans are called satellites? I mean i get it, Planet Hanyu + his Satellites, but how did the expression come about? Give me our origin story please!

I'm watching Boston warm-up and.. why has nobody told me about the costume malfunction before? EDIT video

This post deserves more love! also, , but my one (1) unproblematic American boy just posted a 4A attempt and... pretty far off lbr, but if Camden is trying, I can only imagine how many other guys are suddenly trying thanks to hearing Yuzu's words after the Olympics. Pushing the sport forwards as always. That said, I'll be super bitter if anyone else lands it first in a competition

start from this post and thank @robin for saving all of our latecomers lives

When your own thread makes it to PH please let it be true! (Someone on twitter pointed out that maybe they just printed all the merch with his name but he had to cancel in the end ) seems like it will be a broadcast of all three days at once, like a compilation maybe? I would prefer it to be live tbh EDIT nvm just saw crazykuroneko's tweet, all three days yaay!! The drought won't be that bad in May either !

uhhhh, excuse me but I think the only solution here is that he is carried by none other than his childhood heroes, Plushenko and Johnny

so they'll be livestreaming unblocked for overseas? Yaaay!

Why am I not surprised... I really think they'd do better with an international cast, do they always bring in only American skaters? I saw some US twitter fans were disappointed that the cast isn't international. Also, it'd create a different energy if there were skaters from all around the worlds. SOI Japan looked like so much fun this year, from what we've seen. Is SOI America even broadcasted anywhere on TV?

I actually thought the same yesterday, because I stopped my rewatch at CoR 2011, and next would be GPF 2011 :') He didn't medal at this event thoough so I understand if we'll skip

This is a great idea! I've been trying to do it myself and have watched some full competitions on my own, although I tend to skip some of the skaters when I lose my patience, so doing it together with others might be a better (and more fun!) option I've been using this list for full groups/full events; https://app.box.com/v/fullfslinks this channel is the one that has most of the uploads actually https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCwIjQbpQ-PsiZ6TSsINb7Kw/videos (here's Nice, though it is in French, is that important?) EDIT nvm I see that robin has linked that one

Brian: "it feels amazing when other coaches are looking at what your athlete is doing during practice"

I just saw this. More details from his fan meeting If he goes to golden spin, I'm definitely going to try and go, it's only a drive away for me

I agree, just... something without a possibility to comment. Maybe a blog, or an IG account with locked comments?

people are saying that this is new (?) EDIT nvm ignore, it's old (because of gabby's old carmen music)

goshh, please! tbh i'm mostly surprised about no Stephane, but he might have rejected him because he's a busy coach right now, especially with both coaching and ice shows he's going to do soon for FaOI and such... He's going to be away from Champery a lot. (For Javi I kind of expected him to not be there, mainly because of the format of the show, but also because that weekend it's his birthday lol, we'll see)

In that case, I want to hear your voice actors suggestions. Hanae Natsuki for Yuzu, Y/Y?

The manga looks amazing (I'm always a sucker for sports mangas & animes so I hope the plot will be interesting!) Does it have a name by the way? I guess only in Japanese since it hasn't been translated yet?

I'm watching the HERO'S interview right now and he says it here! 5:55: "There are still many things I haven't done, there's some feelings of frustration. [...] The 4Lz which I want to master and the 4Lo I started practicing last season."

https://streamable.com/aj1vv I know this is from Ghana CM, but why haven't I seen this clip before? Does anyone know if there's more and where can I find it?

Thanks for this. Now my goal is at least 4A. A long road ahead still. Hope y'all won't mind the shitposting (and the Yuzumoji (ab)use) too much.

yeah exactly, #same Although I'm pretty sure I've seen some closeup photos where his skin looked perfect without any makeup in the past, so this time I think we can also assign some of the minor imperfections to the Olympics stress

How do I make my Yuzumojis smaller together with text, like in this case?? EDIT ignore me I just figured it out on my own with Ctrl + right click
