    SEIMEI

I agree. The new seimei costume is much more similar to the original seimei. Just my personal taste to see him in tight body hugging showing off his lines more haha. But I love the details on new seimei. Cant wait to have that full arena lighting hitting the costume and make it pop more. Here's hoping to more interesting men's costume other than black and grey.
  2. I actually love H&L's costume because it's body hugging and shows how muscular he has become. The new seimei outfit I love too, but I wish it will show off his new physique.. oh well, it's just me hehehe
  3. Love this program!!! #fangirlinginbed hahaha
  4. Make it pop!! And hopefully he'll see it!!
  5. Actually that's what happened to me too... I plan and plan but I ended up just smiling to them hahah. It's not just guts, it's timing and also, appropriateness..
  6. Same here.. I think better to approach him to ask if can take pics together at least... but not while he's eating or doing something. While waiting like this, I might ask for a pic... (if I have guts then haha)
  7. One thing to note is that in this olympics, men sp and fs has no break day. Which is why I think Sochi olympics men fs was such a splatfest. There wasn't enough time to recover especially for the top3 after the short since their interview session goes way past bedtime. Adding more quads, does not mean they can perform at their optimum level. So I think in a way, if yuzu is consistent enough, his muscle memory will just take over.
  8. I am also disappointed that there is no new programs for yuzu this coming season. So prove me wrong yuzu! Love you anyways and good luck for olympics... #2ndgold
  9. Thanks for organising and hosting.. it was great reviewing performances together. Puts a whole new POV
  10. I am ok with Sunday 9 July... we are not fixing the time right?
  11. @gladi I only have limited time so I just pick few threads to read... I haven't finished it all hehe. I just wish the best to yuzu and judging is fair this Olympic season.
  12. That's my routine everyday already.. so I'm up for it if the time fits
  13. I also think he basically floats on ice
  14. Thanks for the translation @gladi... my thoughts as I was reading this is that Brian sure has some work to do to strategize on how to keep this momentum or even atrategize with yuzu on how to reach optimum potential at pyeongchang. And also how to fend off upcoming youngsters armed with quads. IMO, having the complete program is great with great transitions and spins and everything else. But would it be enough to the judges to give enough points for victory? In Patrick's case, he only has so far 2 different quads so that makes his BV among the lowest. And I know yuzu has been in the mid range of BV. As a coach, how do you find a balance in terms of completeness of a program vs longevity as an athlete vs desire to win?
  15. Thanks for the translation! It's great to know what and how the thought process of training yuzu was done last year. I had to read the piece twice to really understand the flow of events. And I rewatched the Canada broadcast of yuzu fs in share Canada and Tracy commented about his 4 quads and timing as well. And how for the quad loop, he has to connect the timing, his knees and core and the ice. Does timing means making sure he has enough stamina for all the quads and also his entire program? Or timing means jumping technique timing? I'm guessing Brian is the kind of coach that has a 2-way relationship with his students. He discuss on initial plan, lets the student executes until he feels something is off then he will correct / guide to where he feels is the best way. I guess this is the best for yuzu? Ok im rambling... haha...
  16. I guess I'm rewatching this too haha
  17. I'm thinking with all of the talk about yuzu upgrading his fs, what would that make javi feels? It must be intimidating training and knowing what your rival is doing or even capable of doing... oh well, I hope everyone performs well during olympics and may the judges judge fairly!!!! (going back to watch worlds 2017 haha)
  18. Question, how come Patrick and javier BV of 4t3t 4s // 3a is of different value??
  19. I would have to admit that Patrick's 4t3t > yuzu's. But everything else, yuzu > Patrick. At the end of the day, total package. On on another note, I had so much fun lurking and reading all your posts since I can't keep up with work and this forum haha. But now the offseason starts until the 'hopefully' reveal in august right? I'll save energy and time for Olympic season! How can I be nervous now, when it's more than 8 months away..... helpppp
  20. Wow, I took few days off and the pages really jumped! And I woke up to a possible Chopin short program. I have no problem with Chopin, just cause I think it has an awesome step sequence. However prior to 2002 olympics, recycled programs are kind of frowned upon and won't get you as much points. This is the 6.0 era though, so it might have changed now for the judges. After seeing how yuzu didn't get as many goe possible last season, I'm kinda worried because Chopin has been done in 2 seasons. R&j versions in the other hand, have completely different music to it. But, if Chopin became yuzu's long program, I think that would be better don't you think? I don't think he has formally announce his programs for next season right so I can only wish him the best. New programs would be nice but old programs are ok for me too. I just hope judges won't penalise him too much for that. But if it's new layout and new step sequence, would be ideal!! Just bring it on yuzu and set next season on fire!!! For Olympic gold!!!
