    An amazing idea just struck me! I know it's already too late, but I think 'Country Road' would've been the perfect SP for Boyang in the Olympic season! It's emotional enough, it requires dedication and expressiveness, but less smooth, deep edges, and it could be done it two ways: telling the story of skating for their country/home + build on Boyang's cowboy EX (which I didn't like much) during the StSeq and make that one amazing. Would have been perfect.

    haha and I thought unfinished concerto sounded like classical music, lol I'm sure Yuzuru and Boyang will find a lot of common topics to talk about^^ just talking about jump - takeoff, - feeling, technique, -edge etc. would take a while Btw Today is BOYANG'S BIRTHDAY! (Oct. 3rd) and since this will get a good laugh, here are my wishes: this is all part of my masterplan to persuade Boyang to come to somewhere I can see him live

    but @ Helsinki men small medal ceremony he was asked what kind of music he liked/ like to do during his free time and yuzu answered listening to classical music😄

    but their music taste is totally different 🤣😂 Boyang loves Hiphop and techno, while Yuzu listens to classical😜

    I kind of wish Yuzuru had kept his Let's go crazy SP out of two reasons: 1. Just went to see Kingsman the golden Circle and !minor spoiler in white!: the opening fight scene went with that music, which guarantees casual fans to love the Let's go crazy SP 2. He makes a minor mistake in the SP and therefore ends up going completely clean in the FS, winning gold. With Chopin, I feel Yuzuru just feels too comfortable, which results in a great SP, but then at the FS he'll be going into as the lead and we all know he's better when placed in the underdog situation

    I'd like to add that for me, Yuna's turandot is the most beautiful and perfect one 😍It's a true masterpiece

    well I'm against higher PCS value as long as nothing is done about inconsistent, biased and unfair PCS judging. If judges are not: - bigger fed = more cushion points - the later the starting number, the higher the PCS - low score direct competitors of the judges own nation - greater tech = greater PCS if they stop doing that, then I'm all for Tech/Pcs =50/50 If they increase the PCS value before addressing the PCS judging problems, this will only lead to disadvantages such as: - uninspiring programs of bigger federation get more PCS - higher tech = more PCS - small fed skaters can skate lights out, but still get even more lowballed

    When in 2013 Yuna went to Nebelhorn trophy, there was only enough place for around 200 people (3-4 rows of banks), too. Still tickets for the long program cost 25 euros. Not saying that Lombardia and Nebelhorn are the same, just saying it's been done before that ticket prices aren't very pricey even if attendance is high and seats numbered.

    Also, not just small federations suffer from reputation scoring. They should do something about the intonation of the later the skate (group), the higher the PCS. Remember the worlds when Kozuka skated first, performed the best LP of his life, and then earned less PCS than Nam or Kovtun or Michal Brezina or Voronov at the same competition? A lot of skater from smaller federation's PCS would be fairer, if they were not scored according to their starting number..

    what? why is that??? Nebelhorn trophy all event tickets only costs 55 euros. that's it.

    All small skating federation would get hit, as they don't get the PCS and those cushion points if they fall. That's the whole purpose of this.

    I think so, too. But Japan is a big sponsor, so they don't really mind them having a medal contender in the future. And they know, if they propose something that will not be beneficial to what the Japanese federation want, they won't get their approval. So the value for 4flip and 3 flip stays almost the same. They're picking on the skater with the weakest federation and that is Boyang ...

    The way they are devaluating the lutz while keeping (3Flip) or only slightly decrease the value of the Flip (4Flip) is something! Why don't they just blatantly say it out loud: ISU doesn't want Boyang to medal.

    but Eurosport is a general sports channel. You can watch soccer and tennis and snooker (me not), too. While ice network ONLY streams figure skating. A casual sports fan might pay for Eurosport, but never ever would a casual fan get the idea to pay for a channel that only features figure skating. Also, eurosport streams are a lot more stable than ice networks. People in Europe paying for Eurosport is like people in the US paying for NBC cable.

    hmm I think I'll wait for a nearer camera angle to be sure but I actually liked his FS a lot more than his SP (including music cuts in the long). It has a clear theme and several different tempi (I don't like programs who have only 1 tempo the whole time), but that's preference I guess. I think this will give him a similar vehicle as his Spiderman program as it tugs at a well-known theme and allows him put a smile on viewer's face. I can see this becoming a crowd favorite (definitely for casual viewers) while it's his SP I'm not so sure about ... off topic but I always have to think about this when I hear a star war's mix:

    I think it's now pajama-y but at the Olympics he'll grow into it^^ just like how his La Strada vest was all dangly and ill-fitted at the beginning of the season and then at the end it fitted really well because he had a growth spurt the FS or the jumps?

    well even on yesterday's jumps he had a step out, and two scratchy landings .. his jumps are just not there yet it seems ... he looks labored, too

    what is this sorcery? why did all of team. china fall? first zijun and xiangning, then the pairs, now boyang ... are they using the pair's jumping coach to coach Zijun ,Boyang and xiangning or what? poor guy! and stop bulking up your arms boyang!
