It's really aggravating that journalists and commentators are so narrow minded. I have followed Czech and American tennis players, Kenyan and American runners, seven or eight different nationalities of gymnasts, skaters, skiers and ski jumpers, as well as the odd person from the British Isles. My favourites are my favourites regardless of nationality- the podium at the MAG AA in Rio was spot on as far as I was concerned. OT, but the men's AA in Rio was the most dramatic and amazing thing I have seen in men's gymnastics in a while.. the podium was everything I could have wished for

Gist of it if you don't want to read through the entire communication. -World standing takes the 3 most recent seasons into their point total. 100% of the current (upcoming) season (2017/2018) 100% of the previous season (2016-17) 70% of the season before that (2015-16) -Each skater gets 5 compeitions counted into each season total. [table][tr][td]ISU World Championships (or) Olympic Winter Games (1)[/td] [td]ISU (Junior) Grand Prix and Final (2)[/td] [td]Selected International competition (2)[/td][/tr][tr][td]If a skater competed in both Worlds and Olympic, then whichever competition they placed highest on will be counted.[/td] [td]The best TWO results from the GP series will be counted.
