I have just found some translation errors in the video. Sorry for knitpicking 3:50 "Right now, I really love beef cutlet." He said "Tonkatsu". This is pork cutlet, not beef. 3:54 "Roasted or boiled?" "I liked roasted. I like oily food" He was asked "Rosu ga ii? Hire ga ii?", and answered "Rosu desu. Kekko Aburami ga sukinande." They are talking about the cut part of meat. We say Rosukatsu (loin cutlet) when pork loin is used, and Hirekatsu (fillet cutlet) when pork tenderloin is used. Aburami means fat. So, this part may be better to translate; "Do you like loin cutlet or fillet cutlet?" "Loin. I quite like fat on meat."

His age (and even gender) is the eternal proposition for humans EDIT: His gender is "Yuzuru Hanyu", of course

I have already given up

Another example that Yuzuru has stimulated someone's artistic instinct Calligraphy of Yuzuru's words. They are already poems You can easily recall his soft voice. https://twitter.com/ren_pencil Especially this あ、痛かったか、おまえ、ごめんよ。A, Itakattaka, Omae, Gomen-yo. (Oh, did it hurt? Sorry, my dear.)

As to the comment by Hagio Moto about Yuzuru that I posted about earlier, it seems the comment was actually made in 2019. It was her answer when she was asked who she thought was a beautiful boy. She said; "Alain Delon, Al Pacino, as I'm old-fashioned" "SMAP (Kimura Takuya)" "Yuzuru Hanyu is like a miracle. I cannot believe he really exists." https://ameblo.jp/minminmin-vync/entry-12648122560.html Translation: "After seeing Yuzuru Hanyu's aesthetic performance on the ice about the movie based on the novel written by Yumemakura Baku, who was enthralled by the aesthetic world of the manga drawn by Hagio Moto, Hagio said, "Yuzuru Hanyu is like a miracle." It's very good to feel the world is all connected." Anyway, as I found the videos of the NHK program this time in 100 minutes, for those who are interested. The man on the left who is talking enthusiastically about Hagio Moto is Yumemakura Baku who is the author of the novel "Onmyoji". No.1 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tRzUwdblAd0 No.2 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s6nfKzZdGRk No.3 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=61uixuf1ff8 No.4 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OwqHs0x29Og This post has been tagged by yuzuangel as [NEWS].

This is quite true and we all have understood by now that Yuzuru has convinced himself that he should achieve performance with higher GOE, that is excellent as a program, not annoyed by thinking about the base values. He used to say this many times before, but he might have lost his ideal somewhere when competing with younger skaters. Now after the difficulties in GF and Nationals in 2019, and achievement in 4CC, and again difficulties from the pandemics, I believe he has firmly convinced himself again to go for his ideal. But unfortunately it is also true that sometimes the judges take the jumps with higher base values as more rewarded ones than actually they are, and there is also a fact that the score is given pro rata base. We cannot forget the Hanyu Criteria problem either I was really disappointed by the cancellation of the base value change last year. Just IMO, the layout of H&E still has a risk, although I know Yuzuru would no longer be annoyed by minimal things.
-
Oh, sorry and I understand what you mean. I should have said that "even if it does not have elements that are given higher base values when compared to his other programs". H&E has more edge jumps than usual, maybe because it more suits the program than using toe jumps, and Flip and Lutz, both toe jumps, have higher base values even if it is already a known fact that the Loop jump is more difficult when it comes to quad.

I always wanted to watch 4.5-minute version of Origin. Yes, it was so packed and had some feeling of having left something always. H&E is a perfection as a 4-minute program, even if it does not have difficult elements compared to other programs or skaters. He might change some elements going forward, but Yuzuru seems to have decided to take his own direction. If he wants to add 4A in the future, he has to give up something in a 4-minute program. I think he is now in the midst of experiments towards his ideal. By the way, today's Figure Skate TV is from 5 pm Japan Time. The broadcasting day and time of this program keep changing every month https://www.bsfuji.tv/figuretv/pub/index.html I really hope they will show us unaired scenes from the Nationals if any, but maybe we should not expect many

Still feeling like I'm in the dream of his FS, Ten to Chi to As I came to know that he used the opening music of Shin Heike Monogatari (New Tale of the Heike) too, I'm now thinking of the famous opening verse of the epics "The Tale of the Heike." Yuzuru can easily put me in some kind of poetic mood and give me a chance to be thoughtful (for some time ). Gionshōja no kane no koe, Shogyōmujō no hibiki ari. Sarasōju no hana no iro, Jōshahissui no kotowari wo arawasu. Ogoreru mono mo hisashikarazu, tada haru no yo no yume no gotoshi. Takeki mono mo tsui ni wa horobin(u), hitoeni kaze no mae no chiri ni onaji. The sound of the Gion Shōja bells echoes the impermanence of all things; the color of the sāla flowers reveals the truth that the prosperous must decline. The proud do not endure, they are like a dream on a spring night; the mighty fall at last, they are as dust before the wind. -- Chapter 1.1, Helen Craig McCullough's translation This was chanted accompanied by the play of Biwa. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xyUVT8sas6g

HAGIO Moto (famous mangaka) commented about Yuzuru in the NHK program aired on Jan. 2. I found this after the broadcast. Shame on me I'm a big fan of her. Fortunately they will re-broadcast it on Jan 16th (Sat) 3:00 - 4:40 pm on NHK Educational channel (E-Tele). It might be a short comment, but I read that she said something like "Yuzuru Hanyu is like a miracle." https://www.nhk.or.jp/meicho/famousbook/2021special/ This post has been tagged by yuzuangel as [NEWS].

This tweet likens Yuzuru to Hikaru Genji in the Tale of Genji, who is described as a superbly handsome man. Hikaru Genji means "Genji, who is as beautiful as it shines." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hikaru_Genji I'm watching this hashtag feeling dizzy "Hanyu senshu is not wearing any makeup." https://twitter.com/hashtag/羽生結弦選手はすっぴんです?src=hashtag_click

"My aunt (75 years old) used to say, "I can't learn new technology anymore, so I don't need recording facility. It's just OK if I can watch TV." Now she has installed a recording tuner for Yuzuru Hanyu. That's all from the scene."

Sorry to say this, but it was not my intention After @ mark, it appeared automatically, and I believed it had occurred on my PC only, and clicked it. I didn't know the same happened on your PC. I recently use automatic translation to read some accumulated posts as it takes me time to read English although the translation is not perfect enough. And I noticed that some do not go back to the original English texts even after re-loaded. My posts I wrote originally in English and other referred posts have never returned to English even after resetting PC Anyway, thank you for sharing the history of 梅鉢 (this is not an automatic translation believe me). It was very interesting, and really impressive if Umebachi is translated into 梅鉢 automatically proving its history Sorry for continued.

I like his calling himself "ore". It means he is in a casual scene and relaxed and showing his true self Thank you @梅八 for your detailed explanation

Thank you So detailed. The Tale of the Heike by Isao Tomita Addition: The Koto player said in the above blog is Kazue Sawai. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kazue_Sawai It is said in this English wiki that she plays both the 13-string and 17-string kotos. But in Japanese wiki, she is introduced as a 17-string koto player. https://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/沢井一恵 She might be using both kotos part by part in this music piece.
