what the heck happened here........... anyway, i hope this good news will be confirmed later and chinese fed will totally allow it and wont meddle too much so many yuzu fanboys in tcc, so many hypothetical shenanigans could happen.... oh to be a fly on those walls i just realized this but technically, yuzu, boyang, and jun hwan could be in 1 gp together next season since misha has retired, and many others (the shibs, javi) wont be participating, i need some other flavor of yuzu fluff to fill it up. me @ skating gods on another note, whether this would be short-term or permanent, working on those skating skills will be good for boyang, so im happy for him i have other thoughts but better keep it to team china's thread i guess

I already mentioned this on the CiONTU thread but it just occured to me that people may not check it, so If someone from indonesia want to buy the CiONTU merch, I know a reliable online service store that can help you buy it. They have help me bought various items before, including yuzuru's yume wo ikiru book, Ice Jewel Photobook, and AERA magazine, other fandoms merch and it all arrived safely and the pricing is reasonable. I'm not sure if I can write the name here as this could count as a promo and might break forum rules? Idk but pls inform me mods but my dm here is open, or you can talk to me on twitter @pollenbeau i, myself, am buying the CiONTU tshirt unfortunately I dont know any service that ship internationally, but this one do accept paypal. So maybe other from neighbors country may try to contact them, but do keep in mind its a proxy service not a forward service so the items will be sent to them first and then to you and the added shipping might be expensive; its up to you whether its worth it or not. Another thing, if you want to buy THE TOTEBAG its there in the axelstore, second page, but click すべて first, or just click this link http://axelstore.jp/continueswithwings/detail.php?goods_id=686 it will take you directly to the totebag goods. Thanks @yumeaki Anyway, I can't wait for the parade

practically zero. for the one who are representating russia at least. also tcc isnt some kind of magic fix up place. some skaters, for example adam, found the coaching didnt match him personally so he moved to raf. others would probably get too impatient as brian explained that their method usually take 2 years to pay off. anyway, kostornaia's 3A is great, the steps before it trusova's 4Lz is... impressive but, at the same time, maybe she should perfect jumps that she do have now? her 4S and 4T are almost always UR. perfect technique gives way to the jumps surviving puberty.

the thing with that is it only matches the top male skaters.... the current junior male skaters with increased factored pcs will be a bit err just... no. and there's no guarantee judges will comply with it anyway so no stopping them from doing what is basically the same as now just with higher score, again benefiting big feds.... since small feds rarely gets 8s in pcs when they turn senior (or even after a while lmao) even when they actually deserve higher scores... and they cant force the scores with higher tes with so big of pcs gap (which will always benefit big feds n reputation whatever happens imo). changing factoring in only men would look weird too honestly. ppl would question what makes ladies, pairs and ice dance not deserving it, etc

this. what a coincidence that when ladies who do quads and 3A started to really come up a lot (and winning) and they now wanna reduce quads BV (falls -5 GOE too tho i think thats fine) but imo the ladies who wanna push their tes wont stop since i think they find it fun and they love jumping it

the practice thing is more for skating skills and not jumps so i think he's fine, his edges work on practice is always sublime

watching practices isnt for jumps etc its for judging their skating skills so no worries there anyway, take a deep breath, people. until we get the new rule book and its official what gets changed we cant really make any judgement right now. some of these have actually been applied (arm movements counting as tr, judges watching practice) so i hope those ones wont change the judging too much (it still sucks tho). GOE +-5 worries me more tbh, n taking away the 10% bonus (hope they wont pass this)

i know taking away the 10% bonus is not finalized and is still debated but if they do take it away, wouldnt we just go back to frontloading again? also wouldnt that contradict the spreadability and balance mark? or they take it away and just rely on spreadability and balace mark on co in pcs to give points and/or punish skaters? but pcs judging in general is still a mess... so how do we know it'd even be applied well? selective punishment would be a disadvantage for small fed skaters, they have less weapon to force judges to give points to them (basically im worried for my korean bbs) edit: regarding judges watching practice: some have been doing that so its not exactly news to me. at least at oly? i think brian said something about this. thats why yuzu n javi mostly did edge works in practice at that time. anyway dont worry so much about tcc skaters their team talk to and get advice from a lot of judges, they can adapt lol

It is not the debate that is making me uncomfortable, let me just say only that and stop at that

.....are you guys serious.... Good god

in the off season, there were some influential people (or just someone?), i dont remember if it was skater or journalist, that said asians are inferior in artistry/expressing themselves, that caused quite a stir... i think t.koleto (ice dancer) made a thread for that at the time.... but obviously its not only in that one event as well, i think recently j.weir said something about japanese ladies suits the 'wilting flowers' image? or something

I know I was trying to be positive in the post above but like, when the translation of the new documentary and that press con is released, it'll kill me.... I've seen some bits of the translation and the one that stays with me is how he said the one who saved him from that dark situation when nothing seems to be going on well when he first started to go back on ice was the 3A, and how he said in the presscon on oly that since 3A always saves him all this time, that's why he wants to challenge the next axel, 4A.... My heart I guess thats why I think he's 100% serious about landing it, after healing ofc (probably next season)

About the ankle injuries: i understand that it will be painful ahead and its situation is a bit unknown but im hopeful from the tone he uses that it is doable. Maybe it'll take a long time, but we can only pray that he could resume training in time for gp series. Maybe he will use the time to focus on his uni and finally graduate! silver lining! Cant wait to fill the drought with speculation on his music programs and layouts again lol btw is the schedule for gp series back to normal again or is it the same like this season? Im curious whether he'll go to SC again since gpf will be in canada

Off topic: There are a lot of talented junior ladies that will move up senior in the next quad; kihira, kostornaia, trusova, shcherbakova, young you, etc so dont you worry about keeping ladies single skating alive, it very much is

he has said that if he continues after pyeongchang he wants to experiment new kind of music so i dont think he'll reuse old programs

im so looking forward to the translation of that nhk documentary! seems like so much stuffs were said. and i cant believe they interviewed javi and ghislain too! when they said he couldnt jump 2A i laughed, but it must have been a really hard time before he was able to get back on ice. i assumed he still came to tcc when he was injured? bc they said he was in crutches and just watched the others etc i'm glad it all ends happily it is a bit concerning that he admitted the rehab later will be a painful process (even with a cheerful tone) but im just relieved he's able to share now. i pray that the injuries can heal soon and he can join the grand prix next season regarding the 4A, i think it will be like the 4Lo after Boston. he will add it bc 4Lo and 4Lz give his injuries trouble and he needs some kind of upgrade, so im not surprised if he wants to add it next season provided he heals first.

im dying i still cant get over his shy and genuine smile while thanking kaneki and him spreading his arm when saying 'please eat me' lmao what a dork
-
so i heard it right he sounds so happy to be eaten by kaneki lmao he's just like us fans who would die happy to get his 3A landed on our face, or honestly any other fans of other fandom relatable nerd
-
he collects the manga too lmao i love him fanboying like this, i hope there'll be translation (bc i thought i heard he said tabetekudasai to kaneki? which, i know he's a ghoul, but still hilarious )
-
i still cant believe javi is going to leave toronto soon.....
