September 26, 20187 yr I thought he should have been here: Genchan, the mascot of Gensan Food Company which sponsors figure skating events in Shiga, Japan. Gensan's main product is Oumi beef. They award beef for the winners of the Gensan Summer Cup held every summer. Genchan's role is to appear in such events and help people to learn names of the cuts of meat using his own body, I guess.
