sweetwater Posted September 26, 2018 Posted September 26, 2018 I thought he should have been here: Genchan, the mascot of Gensan Food Company which sponsors figure skating events in Shiga, Japan. Gensan's main product is Oumi beef. They award beef for the winners of the Gensan Summer Cup held every summer. Genchan's role is to appear in such events and help people to learn names of the cuts of meat using his own body, I guess.
sweetwater Posted September 26, 2018 Posted September 26, 2018 The mascot of Universiade 2019 While googling his/her name, I found another cute mascot
Figure_Frenzy Posted September 26, 2018 Posted September 26, 2018 In case some of you haven't seen Neko Masamune in Yuzu's Otoñal costume (and in case you wondered, why does he love Yuzu so much? Well, he's the yuru kyara of Sendai, and Sendai loves Yuzu so much, it's only natural that Neko Masamune also loves Yuzu as well, no? )
Figure_Frenzy Posted October 8, 2018 Posted October 8, 2018 Neko Masamune again! This time Sendai City Museum holds the screening of "The Magnificent Nine" (殿、利息でござる!) at the museum (and yes, they mention the fact that Yuzu starred as Date Shigemura in this movie )
Figure_Frenzy Posted October 16, 2018 Posted October 16, 2018 A new postcard design from Neko Masamune! Look, Neko Masamune skating on Goshiki Numa pond in Sendai, with Sendai castle at the background and Aobayama (...with sakura trees already blooming(??) ...but anyway...), doing layback Ina Bauer (a special move to Sendai figure skaters, first Shizuka Arakawa and later Yuzu himself )
Figure_Frenzy Posted November 1, 2018 Posted November 1, 2018 Boo! Mummy Neko Masamune! If you don't give him zunda mochi, he will trick you!! Happy Halloween from Neko Masamune~
Guest turquoiseblue Posted November 3, 2018 Posted November 3, 2018 Neko Masamune with his gold medal
