November 10, 20232 yr Author Got a little busy with other things this week, but, here we are at Cup of China ! It's been a hot minute since China hosted their GP, good to see them back! Now, the big faves I have going in to this are Piper & Paul. And I guess Jason Brown is starting his GP run? Other than that, I'm a bit out of the loop, will have to review and catch up tomorrow.

November 10, 20232 yr Just watched the mens short. Gabriele: I'm think I have never seen him before🙈...BUT, I loved what he did. He expressed the music so well and the steps were so nice to watch😃. Boy, I won't forgett you from now on! Kazuki: Sad about the two mistakes 🫤 Adam: Ah damn, the missed combination costs him a lot🫤. Everything else was great. But him already competing again surprised me. Two weeks in a row, with travelling half around the globe, not easy to do. Shoma: Ok, so the mixture of these two musics is really odd to me. Not sure if I can get behind it. And I'm also not a fan of his costum. But, I loved how Shoma skated to it🤩😍!!! He kept me looking at him, focusing every second.

For me he never skated better, he looks so secure in himself and in his skating.
November 11, 20232 yr Mens free skate: Mikhail: I just love his program! Adam: not sure if he was better then last week, but he sure was great. Shoma: same as the short program. A strange music choice in my opinion. The costum as well, not 100% sold on it. But his skating! Yes, the two mistakes were unfortunate, but his skating was so nice to watch. It was like the music was just a soft background noise that enhanced his skating. A really interesting approach. I was really surprised when the program suddenly reached it's end.....

November 12, 20232 yr For me this is the most borring FP Shoma ever had, I can't remember a thing. I agree, he seemed to save energy. He always looks a bit uninterested in what he does (though I think he is). Adam all the way. I'm so happy he skated like that. I sooo hope he'll win GPF. When did Mikhail become such a good jumper? I don't remember him that good

Shoma's jumps could be quite painful to watch at times.The low jump height, the wrong jumping techniques, the cheated pre-rotation and at times he has to deep bend his knees to save jumps😢 What to do as I have been spoilt by Yuzu's textbook jumping techniques😂
November 17, 20232 yr Just turned in to the mens short... I want to give Kevin a hug, without a miracle he wont make it to the final😔.... But I don't understand why he didn't get any points for the 2T...is it not allowed as a single jump? Shun was good.
November 17, 20232 yr Kao was great! Matteo sadly didn't have his best day, looked like he couldn't get the height on the jumps.
November 24, 20232 yr Quick note on the mens short program, nhk trophy: Yuma was amazing, he really was. But not sure if it was 5 point better then Shoma.... Camden was great as well, just a bit sad that his ending wasn't perfect. He kind of lost the music and the one spin entrance was a bit unfortunate with having to put his hand down. Otherwise, well done.
