May 28, 20233 yr I just rewatched today's show and... - The OP was quite good, ED was fun but could have been more explosive. - Best solo numbers (in no particular order): Broken heart (Shizuka ft. Miho Fukuhara), If (Yuzu ft. ISSA & KIMI from Da Pump) and Hana (Mai ft. Rimi Natsukawa) - I dunno why Nobu skated to Nada Sou Sou but I would have given it to Shizuka (and asked her to ditch that Miss Saigon number). - I love Mai but that spiral with Shake it Off was so not it. IMO this program would be more suitable for younger blood like Mana, Rino, You Young, Maddie Schizas or Rika (Kihira). Rika Hongo probably would have killed it too. She just has that kind of energy for this type of music. It would also have made for a very nice group number where the young skaters can be all smiley and do silly little things. - I would have love to see someone skate to Let it out. Alas... - I wasn't terribly impressed by other solo numbers. - Yuzu's jumps and spins. Need I say more?
