The Hungarian Skating Federation immediately filed a protest after the race but they said they knew the results wouldn't be changed, still they wanted to let them know they were disagreeing with the result. It's nice to see they at least try to do something even the petition was rejected. But it's like a mouse fighting with a lion.

So the Korean Olympic Committee plans to file a protest at CAS and IOC over the semi-final results of the 1000 m mixed relay, after two Korean skaters got disqualified in the event.

After all it might really be the reason why the figure skating team event medal ceremony got postponed. ISU's lawyers are probably extremely busy since yesterday.

Liu brothers have qualified in the 1500 m finals as well. It's not their main event but I hope they do well and if they'll be in medal position their medals won't be taken away after the race. Good luck! 

 

ETA: they finished 4th and 6th congrats! Korean Wong won the gold medal (no Chinese were in the final lol).
