Just catching up to this event now. The past week was so busy, and then yesterday my sister's family stopped by for a (very belated) Christmas celebration so I couldn't watch the stream live...will do tonight though. 

 

I'm dying to be down at the arena watching them in person. Knowing they're skating so close by and not being able to be there and cheer them on is harder than I expected it to be.

Beaudry and Sorenson have improved so much since Scott got hold of them.

The top two couples could definitely give the Russians a run for their money, if not Gabby & Guillaume. Ice dance is going to be a tight contest at Olys. 

 

I wonder what they do with their Pairs second spot now. Eric and Vanessa are obviously very accomplished with previous partners, but they didn't do anything outstanding this season, it sucks they had COVID just before nationals, but Evelyn and Trennt were so happy after their skate, hope they get to go...

I hope Evelyn and Trennt get to go. In my opinion, Eric and Vanessa's partnership hasn't gelled yet and they may or may not be good at Olys. 

 

Just watching the Men's and Conrad had a rough skate.

It is. Only seats 9400. It's located under the stands of a football stadium

 

One of the skaters - Marek Ramilison - nearly crashed into the boards on a combo and had to save himself with outstretched hands.

 

Men's is such chaos, Jesus.

I missed the current skater's name, but he's giving such Alexander Majorov energy with the way he moves...

Ok, I tried/try to stay awake for Nam, Roman and Keegan, but not sure how far I will make it. Well, the chance to see Nam is pretty good, the others.....we will see😅🥱
