Okay - I have a probably totally unrealistic prediction: The last date for a release to be eligible to next years Grammys is Aug 30. We know the Grammys is BS but it mean something to the members, so I'm putting Auig 30 as the release date of their next single. Not a full album - that'll take many more months, but a single. Yoongi has had access to his studio his entire enlistment; Hobi's been out 8 or 9 months - and both he and Jin have spent time in LA with producers. Namjoon says he hasn't written anything while he's been enlisted and I tend to believe him on that. He's been depressed. And busy. But he is prolific and has plenty to write about. Just a prediction - 17 hours ago, Faithyu said: I think she is amazing, a great choice as the main female dancer. She is super charismatic and performs in a flirty way that's fun and not tacky. Really enjoy watching her perform with Hobi😊. 🤣🤣🤣, love it😎 I think that is way too early. They not only need to heal and get themselves back on track and in the right mindset as an individual, but also, they need to find themselves as bts again. I think the first song after coming back will be one that says "we are back and this is us" and not a fast chosen song they received, just to put something out quick. And finding a theme, the tone and color they want to show as bts will take some time. Also, Hobi needs a break and has Hobipallooza, Jin will go on tour and the others all need to find themselves again. I think end of the year might be realistic. I think you're both thinking about this like as if they were western artists. IMO they're going to move at the speed of K-Pop. Which is to say, breathtakingly fast by comparison to similar groups from the west. Let's not forget - Hobi got discharged in mid-October, beetled off to LA for a month, and then announced his tour and his singles by the end of January. Jin started producing content the instant he got discharged and wrote a new verse for Super Tuna, and recorded it, and released it, and performed it, in under 24 hours after discharge. The others are probaby going to take the breathing room afforded them by Jin going on tour and run with it until they run right back onstage, which they've all said is where they want to be. IMO, we'll be seeing new singles from them - either group or solo - by mid-August at the latest, and some kind of full group comeback by summer's end, with a tour announcement in fall. Solo singles yes. A group song so soon, not sure about that.... Hobi took songs from external producers and didn't really care about saying something special, cause he felt like he had already said everything with his last two albums. So he just picked songs he liked. I don't see bts as a group picking just any song offered to them just to get back fast. They need to think about how they want to present themselves starting this chapter 2 and most likely even want to produce and/or write it themselves, so it really has bts written all over it and that will take some time. But we will see what will happen when. I saw a rumor that jk left for LA. If it's true, I'm not surprised. Of all the members I expected him to do a Hobi😉😎. It seemed to me that JK was very nervous about performing - and that's kind of why I thought Hobi showcased him. I think the group, as a group, are completely capable of producing something original in a couple of months. As I said, Yoongi has been able to write his entire military time and even Hobi, as busy as he has been with his tour and promotional, could easily have done some writing and talking with Jin and Yoongi after he returned from LA. JK going to LA,, however, is a huge concern for me as to his commitment to BTS as opposed to wanting to be a solo super star. Still believing that there will be a BTS something in the next couple of months. Even if JK works on a solo song doesn't mean that it wouldn't be something for a BTS tour. If they go back to their roots when they design a tour, I suspect that each member will, as they have before, be featured doing something solo. Only the Permission to Dance tour had them all performing every song. It would just make sense to return to the formula they used before, It allowed for showcasing as well as time for the others to get a little rest before the next group number. I very selfishly hope that JK does not abandon the promise he made to come back as BTS. They all want to perform; they all want to be on stage. I am going to hope he goes back to Korea for Yoongi's return. Who hasn't longed for a OT7 chaotic Live? I get that they all need time to decompress - though that's not what Jin or Hobi did. I really felt so high believing that BTS was back. Now I am concerned. How are they going to talk about their future direction and goals if they aren't all in the same place?
