Hadn't heard about it before you mentioned it. I don't think it will have an impact. Even if they have a k-pop kind of concept, they aren't based in korea and the girl isn't korean, guess this makes a difference, otherwise korean media would have covered it a ton🤷🏼‍♀️.

I love this style of music

 

It's nice for a casual listen, but it sounds a bit boring and like a typical western pop song, I don't hear enhypen in it🤷🏼‍♀️. Like with most english songs for kpop groups from western producers, most loose the interesting sound structur that kpop songs have🫤.
And it reminds me a lot of jonas brothers "what a man gotta do" and another song i can't put my finger on it right now.

I disagree! I think you can hear Jay's influence all over it
