Wish they'd talk to us.   I don't know what's up with JK; Jimin likely went to Busan to spend time with his family; Yoongi is understandably still a bit wary of haters.  I'd love to hear all of them.  A Jin Live would be welcome, too....

And I figured Yoongi had been cookin' all along.

I thought it would be good to add this here as a reminder. OP is very right in what they're saying.

I think it was obvious.  Yet in was less than two months before Hobi did Lollapaloza and had already released Jack in the Box before his performance.  And Jin, while almost longing to get his military obligation taken care of, he performed the day after discharge and has been ON even since. Hobi did take some time after discharge before going full speed,  I suspect there were some member who were much more in need of a break than other (hello, Namjoon).  I think  that JK and probably Jimin and possibly Tae were not so into cutting off activities, though were totally supportive of it. For one thing, they have known since they were children that the military participation was inevitable.  I guess we can thank the military requirement as a gift to us (and them).  ARMY supported them the whole time and their solo efforts.  Reaction and acceptance of any and all the solo ventures could have been different of ARMY felt there was still BTS in our future. There are  lot of fans would have been angry and not supportive if we had been told they were disbanding.  They have all been very consistent with "BTS will be back".  No way to know, I guess, but I'm sure the break, and also the opportunity to do those solo projects was just what they needed.  I didn't think I'd ever be pleased that they had to serve but looking at it for this angle makes it a blessing.

This is amazing! Great job, our Yoongi!

Wow - I wonder if the photo is new.  Could be -his hair is pretty short.  But more than the awards, it's wonderful to read that Yoongi has been able to work with this group while he was in the military.  No knowing if that was actually a piece of his service or in his own time.  It certainly would be a very very clever way for the K government to utilize Yoongi this way.

Did you read the article i sent? It says quite clearly that Yoongi did all the work on his own time, on weekends, as a volunteer. Not only did he put up $3.6 million worth of his own money, but for 7 months, he showed up on weekends to teach music to non-verbal autistic kids.

It's possible he met the professor through his social services assignment but this project is something separate from his enlistment duties
