I feel like he'll WD, too. Seems they're sending a lot of people out on TV and in the media to tell him it's okay not to compete or to tell us not to worry if he doesn't.

so more damage to ligament than first thought, explains longer recovery time....the boy cannot catch a break :13877886:

Thought it might be. I found a physiotherapy site that had detailed recovery times for this sort of injury and his 10 days off the foot + crutches + all these weeks seemed to indicate it was more severe. :/ I hope he takes it easy and waits until he's 100% to avoid re-injury. Why he's even considering coming back before then is beyond me. :dpooh:

he's yuzu, of course he's trying his best to make everything and I doubt media would mention WD until the very last minute to avoid hurting ticket sales tbh

I'm just so sad he might not get a chance to skate in Japan this year if he skips nationals, especially considering there were 3 opportunities to do so...I feel like he's always energised by his home country. But...eyes on the prize and on full recovery ):

So can someone tell me, if it's a ligament damage.. the chances of him getting back in shape for nats is slim?

He should really just skip it then

I bet he'll go nuts in next years ice shows, though! :P I wonder if he'll perform SEIMEI for everyone who missed out.

Ah, so he's talking about what he's going to do, not what he's doing. If that's correct, then it makes more sense.

Well, the real important thing is how well he heals, not how fast he heals. If he's not ready for nationals but is well on track to heal a hundred percent, that is perfectly good enough.

LGC 2.0 and Seimei 3.0

With whats happening this season.. i'm pretty confident next season won't surprise me.. if it is a recycle.. again.... :smiley-laughing021:

And jack seems to really misses him

So he is not skating still...At least the news make more sense now :sad4:.

Imagine the determination to do it all perfectly at the Olympics because he missed nationals and lost his fifth GPF gold. The murderface is going to be epic.

Something funny to cheer you up.. cause i have a feeling last minute WD will be coming...
