  1. Just to point out that currently only tech panels can use slow-mo. The judges don’t get to watch anything on slow-mo, they can only review in normal speed when giving GOE. http://www.isu.org/en/single-and-pair-skating-and-ice-dance/isu-judging-system/introduction "....At ISU Events, Judges may review in real time certain elements of the skaters’ performances by means of an instantaneous Video Replay System."
  2. I have the Time of awakening Blu-ray. I haven’t watched it in a long time so I just try to remember what’s on it. It’s divided in different chapters according to seasons. The chapters have some nice practise and backstage footage, and some of his best programs. Unfortunately, the K&C moments are cut off. Most of the performances are from competitions held in Japan like Japan Nationals and NHK. Thankfully it also has the FS from Nice and both of his Sochi performances. It ends with his WC win in Saitama. I think most of it is on the internet spred in different videos, but it’s nice to be able to see them in the right order. Naturally it’s in Japanese and there are no English subtitles. The picture quality is excellent. The bonus materials are early programs like a really cute Sing Sing Sing and some footage from his Sendai parade after Sochi. And there is a small booklet with pictures. As a fan I’m happy to have it. I hope there will be Part II after PC Olympics. However, if you can watch all your favourite pre-Sochi programs in good quality somewhere else, I’m not sure how useful it'd be for you.
  3. About the increase GOE range from ± 1-3 to ± 1-5. During the World Championship 2017 coverade on Finnish Eurosport an international ISU judge Mika Saarelainen was commenting and he said that the new ± 5 will be more like current ± 3 in actual points. There just will be more variation in what is now ± 0-3. But we’ll see.
  4. I believe 172cm is about right. I’ve been in some hotel elevators with many skaters and most of them are shorter than one would expect. Javi for one is not very tall.
  5. No, you are not the only one who noticed POTO 2.0. is my favourite. I also love its black collar. I’m surprised that Seimei is winning. I like it fine but I don’t think it works that well with his complexion. I think blue becomes Hanyu the best so all my choises have blue on them. I hope Japan will have blue again in their official Olympic gear in Pyeongchang. It is needed for the upcoming victory ceremony...
  6. The 羽生結弦 × Yuzuru Hanyu ~ Hope & Legacy is such a beautiful video. When watching it I can feel my heartbeat getting slower. The video makes me feel calm and happy
