Hmm seeing how Yuzu skipped TE it gives me the impression that these 6ish extra days of practice are pretty significant so the layout may actually depend on them... although I also have issues believeing the layout would still be uncertain at this point I think it’s possible.

The 4Lz wasn't even fully stable before the injury, he only had one opportunity to test it in competition and also, it affected the 4Lo. He probably had all his hands full with recovering all his other jumps so I wouldn't conclude he has a mental block or anything. He simply didn't have enough time to get it back

it's harder to control a forward fall when you're tripping on a toe pick... but getting caught on an edge and falling right on your tailbone (and possibly your head hitting the ice) is still the worst kind of fall

While there are some silver linings I can think of and I believe Team Yuzu made the best decision they could given Yuzu's state.... I don't see how this can mean anything good. Oh, well. I am resigned to whatever will happen and all I really hope for is that Yuzu can get out of this without further injuries
