    This boy had it in him all along... all those spirals! And the step sequence! He was really fast, too, for a mushroom. And you can tell he liked the axel since way back then. And that sit spin! It looks alot like his swan pose

    I‘ve noticed that I‘m also super scared of going into loops with speed bc I‘m not that secure on the ice yet. My edge ends up slipping... I can see why it takes longer to stabilize loops, it takes good SS

    I guess the reason why the BV of loops is lower is because it allows more pre-rotation than flips and lutzes? Not that it stops some jumpers from ridiculously prerotating their 4Lz and 4F... and I guess the difference becomes less and less significant as the rotations increase. I can see why the rotation speed of loops is lower than on flips and lutzes. there’s no toe pick moment to help boost angular momentum
