This is my first WC that i followed live and i even take leave from work in order to watch it live because of time difference.Now i'm feeling sad and silly for taking off from work,dont think i can watch the gala.I actually resigned myself from the thought of Yuzu winning this WC after seeing how the judging work in ladies and pairs.But it just sad to think that he is unable to deliver H&E cleanly as this programme has a lot of meaning to him.I hope he is ok and not injured or anything as he looks off even before the free skate.I think he also never thought of winning but atleast to deliver a good performances as i think he has quite a good practices here for the past few days...and i hope that Yuzuru know that we still love him and will support him no matter what.There is no poohbear thrown after his performance today but i hope he knew that.Honestly i think Yuzuru will not going to Beijing Olympic...he will try to land the 4A next season and retire.I think by now he must be fully aware that NC has all the support from isu now and no matter how much quad or beautiful 3a that he will be able to land he will not be rewarded for that..Besides with Yuma winning silver here ,he must think than jpn is in good hands now and he can rest his obligation from carrying jpn hope to the olympic.Its just sad again thinking how come isu,media treat a 2x olymoic champion like this.Maybe after winning the last olympic he should retire like what all other olympic champion did atleast this way he will not suffer from all the mistreatment like this..but he loves figure skating so much thats why he continue and i hope the love is still there but i understand if he decide to call it quit.Its just that im so late to be a fan and never experience all of Yuzu previous achievement and glory before and seeing him all happy when his score is announced

I dont think he is going.Only 2 single skater has to go right.So Yuma and Shoma will go i think.Yuma of course will go...he is the silver medalist after all and new jsf favourite

Thank god the tsunami warning has been lifted.Hopefully no casualties.Does this effected Yuzuru participation in Worlds?surely airport must be temporarily close or did he went to Sweden already?

I just went to check on ISU twitter and was shocked to find almost all of their posts are about NC.They even had a post about his best costumes.I'm like what is happening here?Is this usfs twitter ?I know that judges always overscored him but atleast they always post about Yuzu especially nearing any competitions because he brings a lot of views and hits.But the pr for NC for this Worlds is so much.I understand if its from US media but from ISU media itself..its like they did n't care to hide their bias anymore.My theory is that their hoping by doing this excessive promo for him people will view him as the new figure skaters stars after Yuzuru retired.However i dont think they will achieve that..Even the russian ladies are more famous than him.Sorry if this inappropriate in this thread its just im so surprised how they are trying so hard to erased Yuzuru..not only during competition but in social media also

I also feel the same way.Based on how the judges giving him low goes now and the pcs gap with him and NC almost gone now.

As Worlds approaching, i dont think they will cancel it now.I read somewhere that japanese media already there for 7 days for self quarantine.My only hope and wish now is that Yuzuru wins the world title ,stay healthy and covid free.I really hope that he wins this times so that all the sacrifices and self conflict his feeling now is not in vain

4a is his dream and long term goal and what keeping him motivated to skate now based on his interview.Like u said mayb he can try that after beijing (if he wants to go to the olympic)and after that lands the 4a in any isu comp to get ratified

Oh that why he didn't jump any lutz or flip.For me the programs now perfect as it is but in order to win against Nathan do u guys think he need to add another quad(quad lutz)maybe?But i dont see its fit /go with the flow of the program now.Or he can skates as it is now and go for clean jumps and higher goe(if they will give him)?

Yes.I'm also worried about him not having any coach at the board. In my opinion eventhough Yuzu is a great skater, having a second pair of eyes during practice is important to give him feedback during any mistake or to make adjustment especially in a big event like this.Its like gpf last season all over again and the same happened to shoma for a while last season when he didn't have any coach.Sometimes psychological support from coaches also important.

So glad to see Yuzu smiling and looking healthy.I'm nervous for him since he is training without coaches and with jnats as his first competition.Usually he had aci to be his 'pancake'

I have been watching old Yuzu vids on youtube and noticed that he is not doing beillmann spins anymore in his current competitive programs beside during notte stelatta ex in last gpf.Did he ever mention why?Is he having back injuries issues or losing his flexibilty?

I think it is not imposible for him to get a new long program from Shae-Lyn.He had experience before with her with masquerade choreo done via video call right?The only thing that will remains the same i think are the jumps layout.I dont think he will try anything new because of limitation of ice time,facilities and without coaches.In my opinion,he can still win jnats if he skates clean with 3 quads in free programme

Yes exactly my thought.Now that the test event for Beijing is out of the way why they are still insisting on having GPF?Its not a normal grand prix series anyway.I get it that they still continue on with some grand prix in some country albeit its more of a mini nationals for giving skater chances to compete..eventhough i still think its unnecessary in time of this pandemic.Now what are the reasons for holding GPF? I think its just the big fed(Russia and US) that insist on for their skater benefit.Like u said PR pre-Beijing.We know that Russia will want to promote their ladies and of course US same as like previous Olympic cycle is hellbent in promoting Nathan Chen for the olympic title

Its almost end of October.Is there a possibility of monthly white wall video from Yuzu?With all the skating happening now from Skate America and Cup of Russia make me missing Yuzuru skating so much more...

I'm so excited for the new sp.Thank you Jeff for at least giving us some news and telling us the sp is really great.Jeff and Yuzu collab is always great.Whatever the programme is i hope it is something that is Yuzu himself not some tribute or anything because once the programme is something that Yuzu strongly identified its always become iconic like Seimei for example.And another thing do u guys think Yuzu will upgrade his technical element this season?I think with limited ice time..(we still don't know where he is training in Japan and how was the arrangement there) and without coach i think it is difficult for him to try new things.I just hope that he be able to find someone in Japan to act as a temporary coach because i don't think he will able to go back to Canada this year...and that will be 10 months without coach before Nationals..and to think that all his rivals and competitors all have access to their coach and rinks its worrying

Hello.i fairly new to rules of fs and still learning.dont know is this the right place to ask..in free skate can a skater repeat 3t combo?for exampe a skater do a 4f3t and 4t3t combo in the same free skate.is it allowed or the base value will be reduced?

How about going to Canada?can Yuzu now enter Canada or the border still closed to all countries.Like in my country the border is open to any country with covid 19 cases less than 150 000 but they have to get tested and quarantine for 14 days

Why can't they just cancel this grand prix..Just focus on domestic/national event instead.They can't even fill some of the event.What the point of naming this grand prix series.Might as well change it name to something else..and how come Jun hwan in skate canada.I thought he is in Korea and Canada border is closed that why Yuzu is still in Japan
