I support u Yuzu but still feeling sad.Still cant believe especially after the interview he gave during faoi.Hope he is not pressured by JSF.

I cant watch live,so its true his retiring?

Is he crying?

So many live coverages..its make me believe that his retirement rumors might be true afterall..need to mentally prepared now

I was hoping for its just like media day then when he will tell about his new program and such..as a new fan i have never experience any media day from him.What ever his decision is regarding his future i will support him,its just tiny selfish part of me that want him to continue a bit longer so that i can see him in competitions.But at the end of the day it his life and he knows what best for him and i will support him for his future plan.I just wish i had been his fan and knew him earlier

Just read regarding that news article on twitter,dont know whether its true or not.But one thing for sure,the presscon is must be about something big because it will be showing live on some channel..I think most of newsoutlet must have speculation that the announcement is regarding his retirement because like in previous seasons if he is continuing he will not make any presscon about it

What if the reason for delaying the gp assignment is connected to tomorrow presscon?maybe if he is indeed retiring or skipping the gp this season but if the assignment came out before the presscon,it will definitely defeat the purpose of the prescon.Unless the presscon is about another reason

I have not check on this forum for a long time after Beijing..and now the news for the press conference..like someone said before if he is competing why make a press conference.I just need to be mentally prepared.Its just that based on faoi interview it seems like he will continue competing while pursuing the 4a..and if the gp assignment really will be release today,kind a coincidence the press con is tomorrow

I have been making myself busy with work and has been out of touch with Yuzuru news and fs for self recovery after the Olympic and has come back to the news of Yuzuru withdrawal from Worlds.Kind of expected and wish for fully recovery of his ankle .In my opinion this World should just be cancelled..so much going on right now and the Russian skaters also are not allowed to compete.Just a question is Yuzuru qualifies for 2 GP spot next season?He has not competed at all this season besides the Olympic.Another question is there a specific thread/place where i can catch up with all Yuzuru post olympic interview or any videos of him during the Olympic ?i have been away from fs sites and now has miss Yuzuru so much

Do u think that also why the jsf officials didnt stand or clap for him?because he stuck to his own principle by not playing the safe route and they are angry at him for choosing that path

At first i initally puzzled why a country would treat their best and most famous athlete like that and thought it was all speculations.By after a few years as fan and its become more and more evident .I still cant believe that they treat their best athelete like that.In my country if an athelete such as Yuzu exist their will be respected and rewarded so much by the sports body and even receive a title from the government.Even there are factions in japan skating world and Yuzu do not belong to the right group why they cant just be pround as whole country and have spirit of patriotism?

Wow Plushenko is really the no 1 Yuzu fan.Not like Yagudin praising him before but now dissing him for taking the 4A route and not thinking of ways to medal

I want to say thank you planet hanyu for existing.I dont dare to see other stuff in the internet about him.Just want to ask is there a specific thread for all Yuzuru interview/media press post Olympic.It seems scattered everywhere.Finally im proud of what Yuzuru had done so far in this Olympic.He stucks to his principal.He can easily be swayed by western media asking him to ditch practing the 4A and and focusing in 4loop and he might wins if skate cleans but Yuzuru stuck to his guns.Just its happened to be a series of misfortune (hole in the ice,his right ankle injury)on the biggest stage(Olympic).What i dont understand is eventhough he didn't win why the need to crown NC as the next king so bluntly.Like their shove it in your face on social media.When Yuzuru won twice in the Olympic i dont think he received the same treatment.

I'm so sorry for your loss.Yuzuru has also help me a lot this past year especially during this pandemic.By watching his video it helps with filling the gap in my life due to Covid..when everything is so stressful and dark.I cant help want to see success for him because i know it will make him happy and he deserves it so much because he is good athlete and also a good human being.

Don't think he is in Beijing yet.No sign of him in practice at all.I know there is only 1 hour time difference so there is no issue with jetlag but surely he has to have the feel of theice and skating on the Olympic right?especially for the edge jumps

Same if Yuzu is not going to participate in the Olympic it will be nice to have confirmation.I dont have to spend my time looking for his news and watching the Olympic to catch any news.Dont have time and energy to spend on other skaters.But if Yuzuru is withdrawing sure there will be news on jpn media..unless they are so cruel to announce last minute in order to keep people interest in the Olympic...

Yeah.but with Yuzu still not there in Beijing and the head of JOC refuse to give any comment regarding Yuzu whereabouts..it is making me anxious..

All this hype for 4A is making me nervous..what if the 4A is not ready...will he attempts in the Olympics and fails.It sure will cause him the gold medal and possible backlash..i dont know.. all this news and hype for 4A is putting him under a lot of pressure to attempt it even if it is not ready.I rather like for him to fly under the radar and be the underdog like previous Olympics..less pressure

Wow that a sad news for international fans.Yuzuru is a private person with no social media.The only news and tidbits we might get from him came from jpn media..now we are going to get less info about him...

I think he means to do 4A together with 4lo/4lz is impossible.Doing 4A alone is demanding enough stamina wise.So if he is doing 4A he will stick with the current layout i think and if by Olympic the 4A is still not ready maybe he will evaluates back by adding 4lo or 4lz? Who knows what his plan ultimately..If his still want to win the gold medal maybe he will change his minds?He still can try to land 4A in Worlds or season after the Olympic because based on the the interview he will not retire anytime soon

Yes i think the percentage of him landing it is very slim but imagine if his able to land one.What a major news it will be!I just hope that even if he falls on the 4A he still be able to land other jumps cleanly and with the gap from the sp he still might be able to win.I just want to see him happy winning jnats again

I saw that Yuzu news of trying 4A even reach Russia and skaters was asked about that.I think it is brave of him to declare that especially since he has not landed it yet.Now all eyes are on him for the free skate and just hope that it is not putting to much pressure on him.My wish media will be kind to him after the free skate if he not able to land the 4A successfully
