  1. I used to cut a teeny tiny lawn with a pair of scissors.
  2. Well, one of us is freakin' excited she's arriving in Seoul the 15th!!!! And won't be heading out to Jeju until the 18th! I wondered what new experience I could include this trip (in addition to getting to the 2nd and 3rd floor of the National Museum), and here we are. Looks like there will be something insane. And of course Hobi has a position like he does - I would do whatever he asked - but those guys will be held to some exacting standards. I think the same will hold true for the other members (though no one can give that "look" like Hobi can). They are all older than most of the recruits and have the natural ability (and a decade of practice) learning new things super fast. They are already trained to be trained.
  3. I read through the limited translation comments on Twitter (one translator may have been sleeping or something.) I asked the same question four times, in Korean, so am interested in the subs. Bet he hardly read any comments - I asked if he'd spoken to Hobi
  4. I am so bad at knowing when someone is wearing a wig. Since he won't be walking the red carpet, is he just wandering around being a brand ambassador, looking gorgeous, or will he be out of there soon?
  5. If one of his brands, clearly Dior - but who knows. Also - Lisa (BP) in the photo with Tae, etc., clearly has had "work" done. Not that it hasn't been rumored for years that k-pop stars do have work done, and I continue to believe our guys haven't but still.....
  6. For you Samsung people:
  7. But who sells this? I need it. And is there a complete english translation for the Vogue Namjoon interview? Reading that he feels like he was very limited until a year (and a half?) ago is the first comment I've read where I wonder how he feels about BTS continuing. He's the only one, I think, who hasn't said he misses the members (though he sure was emotional sending Hobi off - who should be getting his phone back the 23rd, Korea time!) Thanks for the song suggestions - I'm compiling a list (and we do have some overlap, which is great.) Tae is in Cannes for Celine and not actually attending Cannes. He's just "modeling and representing" around. And, huh?
  8. Wow -Thank you. And for the song suggestions. She may be a swiftie but seems to like "hard" stuff and was impressed that they aren't technically k-pop, as she understands it (which is not at all....)
  9. Easing back into the real world. I, too, am not keen on Jimin's latest OST and I have not supported it - but listen to The Planet repeatedly. So upbeat and "dance-y", though, to honest, almost a throwback to actual k-pop days. Like nothing they have done for themselves in years. Still looking for suggestions for my new Swiftie friend - I have some basics (and want her to recognize that there are rap people in BTS - seriously, any one of them can rap with the best of them). Also want to recommend a few MV's. Life Goes On (+MV)I know she likes Coldplay so My Universe, for sure (and Astronaut), Born Singer, Run, Run BTS (and that Busan MV), Yet to Come, DNA (also MV), Blood Sweat and Tears (+MV), Epiphany, maybe the Grammy Butter live performance and the roof top Grammy Dynamite (another version?), one of the Cyphers (which one?), Spring Day MV, ON - regular MV and Manifesto, Am I Wrong, Filter - but only if I think she can fall in love with Jimin -, Boyz with Fun. Moon? I am suddenly overwhelmed with how much stuff the have produced... The paris pics were supposedly taken another (not now) time, like days before they were released (for their safety?) Hard to believe that Tae or Jennie got out of Seoul and into anyplace without the saesangs catching wind of it, so I'm still skeptical. And the live concert date - Jun 3 - that isn't really live for most of us, is it? It's not being offered in HD as Busan was. And, like Swifties - and ARMY, people did bring gifties for other ARMY at the Busan event. I wonder what to bring....photo cards? God knows I have sheets of stickers I'll never use, but maybe we are looking at handmade?
  10. If any of this posted already, forgive me. I was in a cave. Translation of some fan interaction - and then some Hobi. Because.
  11. Not as concerned for fancalls. since they are so rare anyway and I'd just have my mouth open and be unable to get words out anyway. But any sort of ticketing and VIP status is totally wrong. I no longer have any idea if the members receive physical mail or ever see the #to_rm for instance, in actuality. It's stuff like this and the new Hybe (Bang) being ok with the platinum pricing - unless he hears from fans - that really annoys me. And how do we get any message to Bang? Would he ever even see it? (Of course not, but would protest letters be tabulated?) I have put the #to_ messages on the feed a number of times and also the special #to_jin_from_army (never posted that sort of address for Hobi which also makes me suspicious). It's not that I expect a comment or response from individual members or even when it's to bts_twt, but I really think that the members have enough power to change practices that ARMY has problems with (the pricing, for instance)but how can we even get messages through to them? [and i don't know if it would make a difference if they were flooded with complaints but it should be done anyway -]
  12. Couldn't help myself and checked some specific twitter spots (BTS!!!!). I don't think this has been posted but my brain and body not fully here - but even if it has, I love it.
  13. That is glowing! Hope he drank so much water after that. And I bet he's thrilled to have this part behind him. (And, if I calculated correctly, he'll have his phone back the 23rd!) Also - back into the digital world (though slowly reintegrating. @rockstaryuzu caught me up on the mostly "everything's the same and as it should be" news - oh, i read that the Tae-Jeni photos were fake, but don't know - as I said, no media for me for 10 days--------) Cannot believe Amy's trip!!! I hope to get a ticket to the Seoul concert even if I have to wake up by 4 am to join that bloodbath. And @amylance1215 I met a lovely young woman who flew from Vietnam to participate in this retreat I did (look up the Hoffman Process - INTENSE but enlightening) who lives in Ho Chi Minh city. I had no access to my phone so didn't have your actual name but mentioned I have a friend who lives in Vietnam (which is, as we know, a direct flight from Seoul). So brave to travel so far. I go home tomorrow and will try to re-visit the last week in the life of this select but extremely discerning group and the few BTS lives I missed. Oh - one of my new friends is a Swiftie and understands our TM issues - and she knew NO BTS songs by name - but did recognize Dynamite and Butter when played in her car on the way to drop me off where I am staying now. She didn't even know there were rappers in the group. WTH? So, I want to make her a Spotify list that showcases the best of - OT7 and solo stuff. Taking suggestions (and I could just say "listen to Proof" but that would be inadequate -). I don't think I can turn a Swiftie into ARMY but I at least want her to know what she's been missing. Missed you all. Missed music the most of all that I had to do without. Grew spiritually, but music makes me happy and thoughtful and want to dance, and that is a huge part of my spirit
  14. My last hour of internet and a phone - it's the music and us on the Planet I'll miss the most (and still need to hear Amy's brush with Yoongi madness. I am still overwhelmed with where I am. The place in situated in the hills above Petaluma - saw dozens of deer and even wild turkeys driving in. Still relatively clueless as to how it all goes down tomorrow morning but I'll be off the grid and have my phone sequestered. Incredibly interesting people I've met, briefly, so far. From the states, Kuwait,UK, Canada, Argentina, Germany and I forget where else - and I've only met about 9 people (3 americans so far). I feel like this is a mix of summer camp and boot camp. Saw this on Twitter today and Chris has gotten ticket for the 26th - he had to go through all the usual pre-sale hoops and waiting lists. He thinks it'll be fun for me but I have a feeling this is where most of the Hybe Insight stuff went to. We'll see, And I'll be back...
  15. Still have internet at SFO - and the book isn't due out until July. I hope I still have internet tonight...I have to turn the phone over in the morning. Listened to BTS the whole flights(s).
  16. I miss Jin and Hobi.
  17. Is this partly due to the damn premium pricing? Also - I just pre-ordered the book on Amazon. Word is that one million is just the first run - it's not like there won't be a second printing. And this is cute -
  18. He can dance? Is this something new? Yes, more and better, but he's been able to dance for a long long time. I am going to be off the grid as of tomorrow afternoon and then then back to the real world late next Friday. It's a retreat/therapy thing and being totally unconnected from anything digital. Chris' idea. I am somewhere between dread and excitement.
  19. Boo to sasaengs.
  20. I guess people can get an idea of when he'll be at a show or at an appearance, but not when he's going to be at the airport or at his workout or boxing club. Those horrible people have nefarious ways.
  21. How is this confirmation of JK connections with sasaengs? The woman walking to the car and getting a hug is likely from CK or the event. He did go to a pop-up event after and was seen dancing with Jennie but I haven't seen anything that suggests - what JK updates?on Weverse? If he responds to anyone, we all get to see it..
  22. And no one has posted this? Wow, just wow.
  23. No reference to Hobi, yet he has more credits, I believe, than either RM or Yoongi. "the driving force"? I think that's just people trying to figure out what makes these guys so successful. They are all the driving force. OT7 is the driving force. When one is down, the others bring him back up. Though RM certainly had more responsibility before, it wasn't in regards to the music, per se, but to how the guys behaved in public and how they got along in private. The leader - but not the principal driving force. It is such a bummer that TXT tickets have become so hard to sell, while getting a Yoongi ticket for less than the cost of a car is a herculean task. I think the dynamic pricing and the addition of additional shows (while the first one was selling out) may have hurt, and the overlapping schedules. Hybe owns me...
  24. OK - not BTS - but had to post this here. Our other favorite Korean model and brand ambassador - There are only 7 BTS members and two unavailable so Gucci went for the next best thing.
  25. I evidently did not win a ticket, though I can't really tell by this message if everyone has been notified (I was going for the second date - the 25th) https://twitter.com/BTSMerchUpdates/status/1650436953299468289/photo/1 I am going to try and get a ticket for the 25th but feel like such a loser - Amy got Busan, too! I am not going to cut my trip to Jeju short if I can't get excellent tickets to the Sunday show and feel like I have a ticket curse on me. Maybe they forgot to notify me? Anyway - the gov't of Korea has found yet another way to exploit BTS - though there is a lot of encouragement to NOT support this - Did they, are they, going to pay BTS for using their image? Edit: definitely not going to be able to do anything on the 15th (boo). But, who knows, maybe Seoul -
