  1. TXT seems to be getting the airport treatment now -
  2. Nothing to do with BTS, but To Leslie, the film Chris edited and that received and Oscar nom for Best Actress is now available on Netflix - Please watch it. It's not often an easy film to watch but the acting and writing (and editing) is excellent. Shot in 19 days during the pandemic. Amazing economy of time... And I'm so proud. Also - Chris is now a huge TXT fan - and still ARMY!
  3. What does #FindBTSPresents even mean? Where?
  4. Except the very same department thought it best to force enlistment and we can't see OT7... This is a translation, nicely done, of just Namjoon's part - and I, too, wonder - how did they choose him? (Good choice, but just wondering...) And now I want to hear this entire interview- (and genuinely sad that Hobi will still be under the required number of days before he can get vacation days so will miss the Seoul concerts-)
  5. Well, that was really weird. I know Namjoon is proud and honored. It annoys me that the government and the dept of defense have no issues with using BTS but only seem to recognize them, now - too late, as great ambassadors for Korea. Also "Rap Monster" is not the man seen here today. This is Kim Namjoon, BTS, Korean. I think that there must still be American soldiers lost and buried there. And I'm not really sure how RM got this honorary mission. If asked, he would never refuse. Did they need an ambassador? Certainly we see the serious adult man here - but I still think the ceremony was sort of odd.
  6. Oh, Hobi -
  7. I don't get into Seoul until the 15th - but will have through the 18th (morning) so present for a small part (and going on the 17th to the big deal, though it's going to be a zoo.) Also made sure I have a room with a view of Namsan Tower. I also made a reservation at the new Hybe Museum (not at Hybe) for the afternoon of the 16th but may change the time depending on what more is revealed between now and then. Also want to see what Jeju Airlines deal is going to be because I fly to Jeju on the 18th...
  8. Ambassador from the Ministry of Defense? This is not service? Also Yoongi and tangerines.
  9. And skinny -
  10. Correction: Chris did see a couple of dance practice videos and thought they were great. I don't know how I missed them.
  11. There was nothing beyond still (though beautiful) photos at the LA exhibit. No videos of dance practices. That would have been cool. And there wouldn;t have been time to watch them over and over anyway. We did the last photo op (and i don't think a single one is any good at all and only one has the entire BTS symbol, so we'd have seen if they had video screens. The first photo ops had 15-20 people lined up. By-pass! And zero original Proof merch at all - though you could scan a code to order the deluxe (metal, 25 pound ,crazy expensive) special edition. T-shirts and hoodies - one variety of a verse from Run BTS on the back and a BTS symbol on the front. The other just had a BTS symbol. I wonder if they just ran out of any actual Proof merch. I'd have gone for a t-shirt (if it had quality.) Chris, when he went to the men's room last night, stopped at the merch table in the stadium (no fans around) and wanted to get me a t-shirt but they wouldn't let him touch one He wanted to make sure they were thicker and were good fabric. Wouldn't let him even touch. It's okay - would be fun, but I have so much BTS merch.. He cannot get over how much he loved the concert and TXT (though a couple of songs he thinks are silly - like Ice Cream - I agree). I am so glad we went and look forward to their return. I guess they have Weverse Con and Lollapalooza and some Japanese dates - but since they sang a new, unreleased song, I think a new EP will come out soon after that. And then, maybe , another tour...(?) And I'll believe a Tae album is on it's way when there is an announcement - he is such a tease.
  12. He started this DURING the TXT concert ----which was nearly three hours of awesome.
  13. I sent a message to Soobin and to the group and each member using the #to_ and said it is my birthday and I'll be the oldest MOA there and to maybe say Happy Birthday to me. I think they would do that, but only if they even get those messages. It was way before soundcheck and I presume that after soundcheck is all preparation for the concert. Not holding my breath -and I know they do the same thing as BTS with lots of talking at the end, so...maybe. Thanks for the birthday wishes. Very low key so far but happy to have time with my son. And the exhibition could almost not have been more disappointing.
  14. Such a dearth of BTS news . Going to TXT with Chris tonight since the girlfriend had to be out of town and I couldn't sell the damn platinum priced tickets anyway. Have to remember that MOA can be insane, too, and I am going to enjoy the show (though I did not bring my decibel reducing earplugs because I wasn't going to attend - and I sold far better seats, and I regret that now, but have to let it go....) Do we know, anyone know, if TXT has something similar to BTS for #to_member for their feed? I was going to ask Soobin to wish me a Happy Birthday because I'll be the oldest MOA in the stadium.....
  15. OMG - that lucky lucky girl. And I'd never have though Jimin Slytherin. He's too gentle and sweet. But I love that this is something he wanted to do. It demonstrates the cutie boy that's still a part of him. Reminds me a little of when they went to "the North Pole" but much better. Report on Proof - the Exhibition. Do not waste your money. It was $50 each and the security/guides were just nasty and hadn't a clue why anyone was there. Cameras and taking any photos or videos totally verboten. It was basically photos. Lots. Beautiful, glossy, colorful photos - bot almost nothing we haven't seen in photobooks and all the pictures, etc., that come in every album. There were three (maybe four?) photo ops that people were waiting at least 8-10 minutes for. We bypassed all but the final one because the time was limited that we could be in there. The last photo op was in front of a super large BTS symbol and no line (most people hadn't gotten that far yet....) so we had the person take our photo in front of it. Evidently, she didn't have a clue how to frame a photo or have it be remotely straight or include the whole BTS symbol. I really don't think there are any (and she did seem to take tons, "live") worth sharing but I'll check later. The best photos were the selfies Chris took before we even got in the queue to go in. The anticipation. The excitement! SO disappointing.... And the "exclusive" merch was in a shop across the street. All Hybe pricey but all really inferior quality to what we've gotten on Weverse. Thin fabric Tees for $45. Bucket hats - $45. Hoodies -just junkie - for $90. So, if it comes to your town or city, I suggest you miss it.
  16. I, for one, will never pay $185.00 for a t-shirt (unless it just came off of a member's body. Then, yes.)
  17. Festa memories
  18. And why is he right next to a train track? (Noisy!!!) And I had a very teeny self-seeded lawn and not willing to buy a weedeater to trim the grass and a lawnmower would have been overkill -
  19. It's late at night and I'm exhausted so I'm not even going to try this quiz tonight - but think we should all give it a try - https://www.sporcle.com/games/rkives/all-bts-songs
  20. Well, thinking more about this is really upsetting and very scary. I've seen press with people complaining that Jin and Hobi have received "special" treatment - like when all members were present for Hobi's enlistment day. Now I'm going to worry even more about how the guys will fare - it seems that, if this story has truth to it (and we've read about the nurse and her being at his base, though she wasn't supposed to be there), the guys could be in danger because they aren't getting protection that they need. We know there are so many people who have always hated BTS and the members, It's not like a regular "idol" going in to the military. I don't know a great deal about if hate and harassment is just considered "normal" for idols (thinking of Taeyang). But I'm thinking the military needs to do more to protect them and their safety.
  21. I used to cut a teeny tiny lawn with a pair of scissors.
  22. Well, one of us is freakin' excited she's arriving in Seoul the 15th!!!! And won't be heading out to Jeju until the 18th! I wondered what new experience I could include this trip (in addition to getting to the 2nd and 3rd floor of the National Museum), and here we are. Looks like there will be something insane. And of course Hobi has a position like he does - I would do whatever he asked - but those guys will be held to some exacting standards. I think the same will hold true for the other members (though no one can give that "look" like Hobi can). They are all older than most of the recruits and have the natural ability (and a decade of practice) learning new things super fast. They are already trained to be trained.
  23. I read through the limited translation comments on Twitter (one translator may have been sleeping or something.) I asked the same question four times, in Korean, so am interested in the subs. Bet he hardly read any comments - I asked if he'd spoken to Hobi
  24. I am so bad at knowing when someone is wearing a wig. Since he won't be walking the red carpet, is he just wandering around being a brand ambassador, looking gorgeous, or will he be out of there soon?
  25. If one of his brands, clearly Dior - but who knows. Also - Lisa (BP) in the photo with Tae, etc., clearly has had "work" done. Not that it hasn't been rumored for years that k-pop stars do have work done, and I continue to believe our guys haven't but still.....
