I think it will depend totally what category it's in - alternative? It's not very "pop" - but so brilliant. And it's impossible to actually put SNTY next to Lost in the MV category and pick one over the other. One is all pop and in English. The other a masterpiece. (I think "Who" would be in the same category as SNTY - but again, not really remotely similar to Lost.) Also - Tae really fits into a jazz category. Hobi is also "alternative" but, as much as I love his album, he is the one here that I feel solidly won't get a nom because it's not anything most of the Grammy voters would be able to relate to. I guess we'll see - but I hope that OT7 gets not only a nomination but a win when they release new stuff (probably wouldn't time-qualify until 2026).

The most telling Chris Martin quote in what is a Rolling Stone article (it's the "threads" post i posted earlier) is "And there’s cameras everywhere in their world." When I wonder if it's the genuine them we see, like in In the Soop, or even Are You Sure?, which has far more intrusive camera crews (I think - because I do think that In the Soop was mostly put together from the cameras that were all over the place and only some of it shot by cameramen), this puts it out there that there are always cameras around and they probably got used to that many years ago. I realize there is so much we don't know about the members and their interaction when there are no cameras around, but feel more confident that what they show us is genuine. We don't get it all, and I'm glad that we don't (because they should have their private lives) but what we do get is real.

Unfortunately, it is the Grammy members who do the voting. Every single one of those deserves a nomination but I'm not holding my breath.

A list of them all -

Agree about Jin and his airport appearance - there weren't maassive crowds so I suspect it was mostly media there - but it does indicate that someone at Hybe is leaking... A new SuperTuna coming out and more stuff - Mang!!!! The second one is a bit about My Universe - https://www.threads.net/@dalbitbangtan/post/DAtER36uaR1/?xmt=AQGzYayCidIHs7t23S5yf2tFU1ntDdQQM-dcd9nSLa-qxQ

And he doesn't want his picture taken because he's "ugly

This isn't going to be live until tonight but thought I'd post it anyway - particularly interested in whether she thinks there is an "oversaturation of the girl group market", especially in light of how much time and money HYBE has put into Katseye. (Also very pleased that here in the US, special council filing released - and hoping it sinks in to the drinkers of the kool-aid..)

I think the Jimin birthday is coincidence. I suspect that there will be a Jin announcement by late October and they are trying to drop one thing at a time. And was this a Weverse decision or the theatre group? (And Hobi home the 17th!!!!) From Jin's latest RunJin - I know that tigers figure prominently in Korean folklore....
-
I have a sneaking suspicion this will only be in "major" cities. Tucson is not, even though it showed at at least 6 theatres here. It does say "select" globally.....

I am absolutely tingling looking forward to seeing - and hearing!-Hobi again. And so hope there will be a group photo. I don't know if the other six - or 5 minus Yoongi, since he was unable to go to Jin's exit - will go to welcome his release at the base. They all might be understandably annoyed with K-media, but also feel a responsibility to both ARMY and Hobi. Certainly, this would be the last "exit" they could all attend since Namjoon and Tae would be in different places on their release date, a day before Jimin and JK are released.

Well, this is good news. I don't know how old he is and Hobi has likely visited his family while he's been in the military but I had been afraid he'd be gone by now and how sad that would be.
-
I believe this will end the legal and official part of it. I don't think they made the fine this big to discourage him or others so it might be standard (though how many ordinary people would have that available.) The announcement of this just really makes me, even more, wish I could watch it with all of you - I hope the cost of a ticket goes down.....

This site is easy to sign up for - never hear of it before - but it, as always, annoys me that "haters" go out of their way to try to make the members look bad on any and all sites. This one was posted for Hobi, but once you're there,, you can rate all the members and OT7. (Sometimes it feels that finding a postable post is an a almost desperate chore.)

As a military band member, Joon would have had no choice. But it was a family event. Not public. Definitely footage that would have been discouraged,, but I like that he seems to be enjoying himself. Two Yoongi older posts - makes one think just how overwhelming the level of success that have had came as a surprise to all of them. Thinking - we'll debut, hope to get some awards, do well and then go one with the usual life of a "retired" idol.
-
Government "might request" the key here. I guess if the military band is doing performances, he doesn't have a lot of choice, and the guy does love to perform.
-
The first post, with is on threads, is distressing - looks like they are using members for their shows. Maybe Namjoon, because he is in the band has different requirements, butt I would think that Spring Day would be off limits. Waiting tto see what else we might see. https://www.threads.net/@rpwprpwprpwp________/post/DAdsrEZz3Tw/?xmt=AQGzFW21FKBxQaQQwCtqp3STyhStD2NYeA5TW7p2sXC-DA I was going to post about the MV, also, with the question of MV????? What MV? How soon until we get an announcement of a "comeback"? Jin is asking for ideas to do for content, but won't he be busy with his promotions?
-
They are just teasing BTS members. It's a four day festival? I believe that HYBE (maybe?) made it clear that no members would be performing at all during their time in the military. I suppose they can be "ordered" to, but, they are under a contract that has exclusive rights. Note: Yoongi not listed. As this starts in 4 Korean days, our members would have been secured and promoted by now. I guess we'll see but I hope they don't perform, even if I would like to see them. This would be USING them.

And, evidently, looking for new clothes.
-
I just love that the members, even almost ten months into their military time, continue to set records and get international recognition. And the one who is back with us gets mentioned again - (more love to Chris Martin)
-
I guess I can go ahead and order a Namjoon's Brain thing - I guess it's not copyright infringement I was thinking of but licensing - So, this demonstrates quite nicely how different in volume the fandoms of BTS and nj are- And this is just informational for anyone purchasing from these companies - prices that are too good to be true are generally too good to be true. In addition to the toxic materials in this piece, we also know that it is slave labor producing the products (like the Uyghurs, a Muslim population that has been in China since the 9th-13th century).

I wonder if there are any copyright issues with the Items in that shop. Wouldn't all the BTS-related items be "owned" by HYBE? and Tae won't be forced to lose his muscles. Yes, losing muscle seems a like a very easy thing, but if he did choose to slim down some, it would have to be done slowly. I suspect he will want to lose some just to be able to dance as he has. All the members may be under contract but they won't have the weight restrictions they would have had when they were in their first or even second contract. In JK's documentary, he clearly wants to be super fit and slim for doing his MV's. I guess that hair style and color used to be something the company could control but a few years ago, Jin told them he didn't want to bleach his hair anymore. He has had it dark since. I understand he had a wig for the shooting of The Astronaut, and the hair there is not black. They can always use a color rinse on their natural color. Certainly the days of starving to be crazy skinny (or because they couldn't afford food) are long past.

Love those!!! But, yes, pricey (as if that stops us.....). Lots of re-tweets. mhj and jin and hobi news.
