So, this news of Jin being an Olympic torchbearer means that both he and Coldplay are going to be in Europe at the end of July. Coldplay's tour dates for the second half of July are July 15 & 16 in Rome, the 20th, 21st, and 23rd in Dusseldorf, and the 27, 28, 30, and 31 in Helsinki. Just sayin'. My money would be on the 28th in Helsinki

Jin posted on Weverse yesterday that he's know doing everything he planned for the past 18 months while in the military - all this stuff he's busy with is stuff he actively wanted to do asnd couldn't wait to start. Maybe he was bored out of his skull in the military and dying to get back to work, you know?

As exciting as this is, is it real? Dispatch isn't exactly an official source

Vocally they're great, but why do they seem like a school choir to me? 😅

What I find so interesting about their solo albums is that I can see now how each of their individual musical 'flavours' adds in to the whole that is BTS music. It's like eating pizza almost - every ingredient that goes into pizza is also tasty on its own, and very enjoyable, but put all together in a pizza and the result is very different yet the elements of each flavour is still there. Bangtan are a feast for the senses, for sure.

About Golden, JK said it himself in his interview on Jimmy Fallon - he wanted to tell a certain story with the album, while focussing on showcasing his vocal talents and presenting himself as a singer who can do anything. He knew his own songs wouldn't tell the story he wanted (and if you listen to the songs he has written, like Begin, and My Time, and Still With You, you'll see what he means), so he accepted to use songs written by others. It was a deliberate artistic choice for the sake of the bigger picture of the album that he wanted to make. I think he accomplished exactly what he set out to do.

It's cute and clever. Tbh I was very tempted by the lightstick cover as well. Normally I wouldn't bother with something like that. Personally I thought the prices were just as expensive as they always are, though

Wootteo x RJ plushy keychain is already sold out! Weverse didn't even send the notification, wtf

Thank you!

Anyone know where we can order this?
-
Probably

I've seen posts of both types - definitely some are saying that by posting this, he's admitting that he's trying to sabotage Jimin.
-
True. I was wondering if that's what they were up to as their wording is a bit inflamatory.
-
I'm picturing another Otsukare, only way more campy and fun and chaotic. It'll be trot music for sure
-
I saw that. ARMY were complaining on Geffen's social media that there was no iTunes pre-order link for Jimin's new single and he replied by posting a link for a new artist's Taylor Swift collab and called it song of the year. That being said, he did not actually say anything even remotely like 'yes we are sabotaging Jimin' so I think the fans are reaching a bit However, one day HYBE will own Geffen. Just watch.

Most of the Yuzumojis. For example, the images of Brian and Tracy are taken from video of them in the K&C reacting to Yuzu wins

Jimin looks like he's channeling Bowie - very 80s-inspired. I mean, it makes me wanna be the guitar in every photo... 🥵

I've decided that when it comes to cute merch, I need to collect all the plushy keychains. My Wootteo and Mang have been keeping me company at my mom's house and keeping my spirits up.

Annndd on that note: Here's a link that explains it perfectly, but for those who TL; DR, "first pancake" refers to the reason why Yuzu would always start the season with a Challenger competition like Autumn Classic. As Brian Orser would say, when you are making pancakes, "the first pancake is always spoiled" because you might not have the temperature of the pan right, or the batter is the wrong consistency, or you might need more oil in the pan, etc. So, Brian would get Yuzu and his other athletes to do an early season competition every year as a test run for their programs and training, to see what needs to be adjusted. But over time, it also became a catchphrase for Yuzu's fans, who were often disappointed, not by Yuzu's skating, but by the quality (or lack thereof) of the judging and the subsequent scores. We'd tell each other "first pancake" and shake it off. Or if Yuzu had a struggle with a jump (like 4S, our favorite snake), same thing, "first pancake". Hence came to be. Two fun facts: 1. When Evgenia came to TCC, she pointed out that the same idea exists in Russian culture. In her words, "the first pancake is always a lump". 2. Yuzu's 'first pancakes' were to other skaters' 'first pancakes' as champagne is to water, in my opinion. In any case, I doubt we'll ever see another 'first pancake' from Yuzu again. Now that he's a professional, he probably thinks it would be unprofessional to show one. The article>> https://coach.co.jp/en/view/the-first-pancake-is-always-spoiled.html (Ignore the stuff about finance, focus on the Yuzu part.)

The Minions merch goes on sale next week, at least on Weverse
-
I'm going to wait a couple hours and see if any one else jumps in on the discussion, then I'll explain.
-
Ah, Yuzu's pancake spin is a thing of beauty! But that's not why the emoji is there. Does anyone still recognize the phrase 'first pancake' ? 🤔
-
I just got reminded of something! Raise your hand if you know why is in the Yuzu-moji section of the Planet's emoji collection. And if you don't know, say that too, so someone who knows can have an excuse to tell the story
-
I was wondering where that was from! It was all over my Twitter today

Probably after being stuck in military barracks for 18 months, being in his own comfy home and free to play tennis feels like a total vacation to Jin anyway. As regarding Gucci potentially approaching Jin - if both Jin and Yuzu have Gucci brand ambassadorships at the same time, Gucci would be sold out in perpetuity
