  1. For a while, I thought we lost the light there.
  2. What a sunshine! That smile when she fell at the end. I love this haircut on her.
  3. It's working good for me. JapanTV aborts at startup for me, but is working for others, but quality wasn't good?
  4. He was wilding a little bit too much and had to put his hands down. Lol. Hope he is all healed up.
  5. Yuzu looks like he's been brushing up on his dancing skills.
  6. Aww, they only showed Keiji, but not Kao.
  7. Which browser are you using? Last time, I had problems with Firefox, but it worked with Chrome.
  8. Which stream is better? QQ or Twitch?
  9. It's currently showing GP 2021. Anna just finished her program, right? Making sure I've got the right channel.
  10. Yep! No matter how many times you use it, it's different and changed by the time you have to use it again. iSakura worked well for me, but then it went away. MujiTV worked too, but it doesn't have the channels. ForJoy TV and JapanTV keeps crashing for me. It depends on your device, your antivirus, your browser, etc. So many variables. ETA: And keep a couple of QQ streams handy as backup!
  11. Opposite experience for me. I spent a ridiculous amount of time trying to get JapanTV to work yesterday. Apparently, I had installed it previously, but it didn't work then and I ended up using a QQ stream and promptly forgot about it. So this time when I bought the 3 day trial, it wasn't valid because it's not a new account. What's worst, I don't remember what password I used last time and there's no way to reset your password without opening a help ticket. Also, the app crashes most of the time on startup. So I tried NewHome. That was a bit of a challenge too because they don't really have instructions for Windows and the interface is in Japanese. After some trial and error, I got it to work. So hopefully it will keep working this evening! Yes, and all this struggle is definitely worth it if I can see Yuzu performing his heart out on live stream!
  12. This outfit was designed for fan service. This post has been tagged by yuzuangel as [NEWS].
  13. And here I thought his costume wasn't short for a change. FaOI costumes never disappoint.
  14. More pics of the inside... don't know why Twitter thinks this is sensitive content. Lol.
  15. This post has been tagged by yuzuangel as [NEWS].
  16. He jumped 4T, not 4A, but he said he still hopes to challenge 4A, perhaps later when his ankle has fully healed. Kitty Yuzu.
  17. Lucky you! Congratulations! Have a great time and please clap hard (not sure if cheering is allowed) and show Yuzu all the love from us!
  18. What a talented artist! Really captured his sparkly eyes. Hopefully, the start of FaOI will be a turning point for you and your family and Spring will come for you.
  19. Yes, bright sparkly eyes! He looks so good, and it's so good to see him again!!!
  20. Welcome to the Planet! I've never tried buying a ticket, but what I've heard is you need a Japanese phone number and Japanese credit card to purchase a ticket, so that right there makes it really hard for international fans to buy tickets. Also the demand for tickets is high, so even for Japanese fans, it's not easy to buy tickets. Because of the high demand, they will sometimes hold a lottery, so you cannot buy tickets directly. You enter a lottery, and if you win, THEN you can buy a ticket. So if that's not enough hurdles to jump over, each venue has a different system for buying tickets. Even if you have a friend in Japan who can buy a ticket for you, sometimes they check ID at the door to discourage scalpers from buying and reselling tickets, so your friend has to enter the venue with you. That's my understanding. Anyone who has more experience, please correct me. Here's a detailed post about this from @SuzyQ https://planethanyu.com/topic/1145-general-yuzuru-chat/page/7045/ I wish Yuzu can do international ice shows someday!
  21. Congratulations to all the winners! Enjoy your Yuzu goodies! Many thanks to @Yuzu_legend, @yuzuonice, and anyone else who worked on this fun project! Big thank you to all who participated and shared your Yuzu journey! Finally, welcome all new satellites! Don't feel shy to participate, and hope you will have a great time here!
  22. Its been a lot of fun reading everyone's answers! Here are mine: 1. When did you become a fan of Yuzu? I've always loved figure skating and watched a lot of it growing up, but at a certain point I stopped watching due to various reasons. Unfortunately, that coincided with the time Yuzu came onto the scene, so I managed to miss most of his career. Fast forward to 2018, the news was reporting about the Olympics, so I decided to take a peek, saw a replay of Yuzu's Ballade No. 1 and became an instant fan. 2. When and why did you sign up for Planet Hanyu? After I discovered Yuzu, I started looking for information about him and came across the Planet. I lurked for 2 months and found out that they were going to give him a parade in Sendai to celebrate his 2nd OGM. Someone posted a link to the live stream, but it was hidden behind the spoiler! So I had to delurk and sign up to see the link. Thank you whoever posted that link and made me sign up! 3. Did you make any irl friends through Planet Hanyu? Yes, from the meetups at the competitions. 4. Have you participated in any group projects on Planet Hanyu? Yes, the birthday projects and the YuzuSkatingParties, and probably a few others. 5. Did you attend any meetups with other satellites at competitions? Yes, I've been lucky to attend several competitions and met up with other satellites. It was the best time ever cheering for Yuzu together! I hope that I will get the chance to do that again someday. 6. What do you like the most about this forum? I love seeing the latest Yuzu news and following all the satellite chat in the General Yuzu thread. I also love the competition and ice show threads where we can watch the live streams together. The Team Other Skaters and General Skating Chat threads are great for catching up with what else is going on in the figure skating world. Finally, the videos, translations, and compilations archives are just a treasure trove of Yuzu goodness. 7. Would you like to participate in the giveaway? Yes, I never turn down Yuzu goodies. Thanks so much for the giveaways!
