I'm a little surprised at how much of a reaction there is to this ambassadorship. Some people are determined to be unhappy - soon after news of the jewelry Jin was wearing selling out, people on Twitter were complaining about how Army has money to sell out such expensive jewelry but Army accounts are still waiting on funding. And of course, there're the idiots complaining about him not using his influence to free Palestine, as if any celebrity could . Some are even claiming that the jewelry is low quality and people are only buying it for the name. On the other end of the spectrum, there are so many thirst tweets by locals and even some who claim to actively dislike BTS. Jimin and Tae are much more popular but I don't remember all this from either end of the spectrum when their jewelry ambassadorships were announced and selling out the jewelry they wore - just ecstatic Armies celebrating.
