I feel the same... meanwhile... The girls themselves are so young that it feels icky to dislike them, but it definitely puts a sour taste in the mouth knowing how complicit they were in all the scheming. I honestly didn't care about the case until MHJ made that underhanded comment about how she and NJ accomplished things so much quicker than BTS and then Danielle behaved disrespectfully toward the Le Sserrafim girl that was hosting that music show to repeatedly thank MHJ. I suspect that Jin, himself, is the one that felt a need to add a clause about allowing people to substitute a handshake. Gentleman that he is, he's the only one that I can imagine being oblivious enough to think that anyone wanting to touch him would rather have a handshake than a hug. If anything, I'm a little nervous that he's going to get mauled. ETA: someone in the comments pointed out that it's against some people's religion. I can't fathom being that devout that I could resist a hug

Same here. When everyone was speculating about the emotional Festa, it was immediately obvious to me that it was RM that needed the break. If nothing else, we should trust his words - he felt so much pressure to fit a certain role in BTS and create a certain type of music. We have to remember that he got into music to be an artist rather than to be an idol so of course he's feeling stifled. And now that most of the members have released their own music, it's clear that they've all been limited to some extent. Really, the only one that I think is actually somewhat close to being as innocent as his image is Jin and even he isn't that pure (though I'll be shocked if he has even a romantic lead in any of his videos). I'll have to look more into it, but from the comments, this injunction says that she can't be fired as the head of Ador due to contractual limitations because her actions were hurting Hybe but not Ador. Basically, the court is saying that, yes, she is guilty of things, but not of this particular thing that you're trying to fire her for - so the court is saying that Hybe just needs to file a lawsuit for the correct crime that they've already found her guilty of and then Hybe can fire her. lol, that was not the most eloquent way of wording it but the court is essentially just saying that Hybe filed the wrong paperwork so it's really just a technicality. Gosh, Jin's ideas are so darn cute. I think the blue thing is like Wotteo's pet or something.

Finally watched it - late to everything now that I'm day shift. I didn't even notice the song length so that bodes well. Still not sure how I feel about the song itself. Joon's melancholic tone to his voice lends itself well to the mood to the song but I feel like it would be amazing with a stronger vocalist. I'd like to hear Tae perform it. btw, I listened to some other songs. Saw the Jennie/Zico song. I enjoyed the song overall but I dislike her singing voice and the song didn't seem to go anywhere - felt like a B-side. It seems that all the singing in BP have a screechy tone to their voices that makes it hard for me to enjoy. Didn't like Seventeen's Maestro - sections were really good but I don't like these Frankenstein songs of jarring cuts and filler lyrics that are so popular in Kpop NewJeans' new song is the least bad that I've heard from them. I managed to get through the whole thing but I never want to listen to it again. Will never understand their popularity.

I was thinking he reminded me of Yuzu too. My favorite thing about Soobin is that he exudes warmth and has that mix of cute and handsome. On a pure physical basis, all of TXT seems to fit those Korean beauty standards so I imagine it's just a matter of personal taste. If I knew absolutely nothing about them, I would immediately be able to tell that they came from a successful, powerful company because they have the luxury of finding these all-arounder trainees.

The comments say that they're having a comeback and will be performing at Tokyo Dome 10 days later so they could just be too busy. Also, they're the 2nd biggest Hybe group right now. Maybe NewJeans feel like they'e outgrown it and don't get enough of a payoff from it? It looks like the last time BTS performed at Weverse Con was in 2021 (obviously, they're not as big as BTS, but they probably also don't have the same level of loyalty and the company doesn't have the same level of dependence)

I'm not sure if the Kth's (Tae Akgaes) have been worse than ever since solo era or if more of them are filtering into my timeline, but apparently they've harassed Master Park (the guy who taught Jin how to make alcohol) so much, that he deleted his post updating us on Jin. another silly plastic surgery fan war - poor Sohee, the comments on him are downright cruel (apparently Knetizens are wanting him to get more to "fix his face" and saying that he's still ugly after all that). But I was struck by how similar Jin's face is since his teenage years - I thought it changed a lot with maturity but someone did an overlay of his adult and teenage glasses pics and he looks so similar. Amazing how much grooming, makeup, and hairstyle can do! The funny thing is that a Blink was using the same 2 pics to convince people that he got SO much plastic surgery done. just got back from the concert movie. @barbara no luck with the diamond tickets; this event was excluded so no savings to be had It was $22 USD after fees here, so looks like it's the most expensive for the US once you convert. My friend said that the Taylor Swift concert movie cost the same but hers was 3 hours long, and even then, the Swifties were complaining that they cut 4 songs out. It was definitely a whole different experience vs. watching at home and I would do it again but I feel like Hybe dropped the ball a bit.

Damn. A BTS concert finally comes to my theater and only 3 tickets sold tonight. It doesn't look the next one will be coming to my theater I'm taking 2 of my friends to see it tomorrow. Hopefully they have fun and it picks up over the weekend. @barbara, if you have a Marcus theaters, you can buy Diamond discount tickets for $8. I'm not 100% sure they'll work on this but they say that they're good for any movie that's not listed as an "Alt Event" or "VIP Seating"
