Only speaking for myself here, but I only bother criticising people and things i like. If there's smth I don',t like or disapprove, that is, not just out of the blue. anyway, I was raised to believe criticism can be smth positive if done right, so i guess this is why I have no prob voicing my opinions, even if they're negative. if I don't like smth or someone, I don't bother with it at all, I just ignore it. So I guess I'm strange like that.

I love the frills, I love the sleeves, the colours, the music, the gesture where he throws ice in the air... literally everything about this program. The only way it could be better for me is if the song had lyrics, but I'm not super particular about that either. It's not that Hanyu can't go wrong, it's more like he can't go wrong with this particular program for me, coz I love it that much. Give me an entire season of this as an EX and I'll be watching every single one like it's the first and last, and rank them arbitrarily into favourites and beyond favourites, lol.

This conversation between two consummate performers about what makes a great interpretation, like showing weakness in order to then show strength to greater effect, or how to incorporate silence into the performance, and not being entirely enslaved to the rhythm, and how to capture the audience attention, was fascinating to me. Yuzuru actually does all that in his programs.

Sorry for my lack of knowledge, but I was wondering, what is the name of that spin that Yuzuru (and a few other skaters) typically end their combination spins at the end of their programs with? I have no idea about its difficulty level or anything, but I find it very aesthetically pleasing.

Hi guys, sorry to bother but I need help finding a video, and I looked for it everywhere and couldn't find it, so I'm beginning to think I dreamt it lol. It was from Japanese tv (I think) and it was basically Yuzu in the Pyeongchang green room after his FS, except the camera was on him at all times, unlike the BBC, 1TV broadcasts where they cut back and forth from green room to the crowd and other stuff. And it ended with him finally managing to put his skates on and leave for the venue ceremony (presumably). I remember a lot of people came to hug him while he was trying to put his skates on, and at some point he gave this quiet tired sigh. Nothing extraordinary about this vid, but it super bugs me that I can't find it anywhere, just shortened versions. If you know what I'm talking about, please let me know, that would be much appreciated!

The only thing certain right now is that Medvedeva split with her coach. We have no reliable sources so far that say she will train at TCC. If she does, I'll be way more curious about what this means for her future career and her rivalry with Alina than about how this relates to Yuzu. Actually, I'm already very curious about many things regarding Med and her split from Eteri, but discussing them here would be off-topic.

Wow congrats! I tried it too when I joined but I gave up around page 1000 bc it was too difficult to catch up and keep track of the recent posts too! Besides, I got years worth of Yuzu to catch up on, I busy af already lol
