    And it completely undermines what has been done on ice. THAT Worlds FS wasn't enough for them? He scaled a very high wall and threw down the gauntlet. The main contenders had the door wide open and a big bowl of candy by the foyer. It's not Yuzuru's fault that they didn't pickup the gauntlet. Only Boyang did, but alas his PCS is not at that level yet. That's why I think Boyang Jin has a big chance to podium at Pyeongchang.

    Remember 2015-2016 when he was ahead by a lot of points? What were people saying? The judges were too generous. The scores are an exaggeration. Like, what the heck do you guys want? Ah, for him to leave the competition altogether? Because that's what it suspiciously sounds like.

    Oh, we want to... I think considering how the audience went into fits by the end there, he probably considered it a massive success. Which both frightens me, and doesn't, considering what might show up as music for the new SP. Honestly, towards the end of the season there, I would not have been surprised to see panties on ice post performance. Who knows, maybe he'll be the first to draw this reaction during the Olympics, considering everyone's more fired up then anyway automatically Inappropriate discussion! :ban: :ban: :ban: :ban: But in all seriousness, those pants leave me either bug-eyed or cross-eyed every time.     Meh, his Helsinki feat is still not enough for some. Had X skater landed this jump, he would have won. Had skater Y gone clean, he would have been champion. The point is, they DIDN'T go clean but Yuzuru did. It's kinda unreasonable to expect him to be 10+ points away from the next medalist in every single competition.

    I don't mind the high standard, but ACI(gold)-->SC(silver)-->NHK(gold)-->GPF(gold)-->4CC(silver) is not sliding into irrelevancy.

    I absolutely agree. That's why I my eyes when notorious conspiracists from the old FF claim that Orser favors Javier more. Where are they getting the ideas from? Was he supposed to ignore Javier's boot problem/complaint at Boston? He can't praise Javier during interviews? Obviously Orser has flaws and is still learning as a coach, but to accuse him of favoritism every single time something goes wrong for Yuzuru...

    There was a blogger who was relieved that he won Worlds because s/he thought Yuzuru was sliding into irrelevancy. I bet a lot of skaters would like to have Yuzuru's type of irrelevancy.

They are prone to over embellishment because he's a baby dragon with a cave full of shinies, sparklies and chickens (for their feathers not food). Take NDP, the color gradation is beautiful but the big a** cross. :s_scratchhead Or the legendary R&J 2.0, I find the boob skirt nice but the avalanche of rhinestones... :s_scratchhead My favorites are Chopin 1.0 WC/WTT version and Etude. Yes, even the Chopin's weird collar. :s_inlove Etude was PERFECT. There is no saving Hello, I Love You and The Final Time Traveler costumes Yes, blue looks good on him but TFTT costume enhanced his slouch too much. :nah: Let's address the elephant in the room, shall we? LGC 2.0's sole purpose is to exact vengeance upon those saying his lower half's invisible. Can't see my legs, huh? How about a version where you can see EVERYTHING? :s_devil What costume would want to see? My mind is quite blank because what he comes up with in reality is so much better/controversial. :devil:

    His music cuts have always been perfect regardless of the choreographer and the choice of music. Nothing disturbing and out of range. I think he always had a word to say in this. Yes, it doesn't sound as chopped up then pasted together like other skaters' music.
