  1. The height he gets... *we really need some equivalent of heart eyes emoji with Yuzu*
  2. These are the broadcast dates or show dates?
  3. Anyone knows where Lorene LeCavallier ended up? I think she broke from Kori Ade.
  4. Sigh...read: war horse. I HATE war horse programs with a passion. I'm now traumatized by ever watching Women FS live ever again by the multiple Carmen.
  5. so I read this as Brian being primary coaches for Yuzuru, Evgenia, and Boyang. Okay that's manageable.
  6. I AM SO FREAKIN' EXCITED!!!!!!! and also pity for poor Brian's hair. Oh the shenanigans Yuzu and Boyangman in one rink is just too much.
  7. Oh that is the most adorable thing! Poor bb got a brain freeze.
  8. Judging by how Nathan caved under the pressure of the Olympics and during last year's World, maybe he really should think about concentrating on the mental strength. It wasn't until Nathan realized he had no chance of winning that it freed him up to that LP of his.
  9. But I missed it! I want the juicy gossip as well!
  10. While David is not my favorite choreographer for Yuzu (the insistence on using War horses kills me), he did some great choreography for Yuna and I think his sense of dramatic and Evgenia's acting skills can pull off some really good programs.
  11. All this talk about coaching changes made me wonder who are some successful athletes turned coaches. By successful athletes, I mean athletes who had some success in the international circuit i.e., won medals at major events like Olympics, Worlds, 4CC, European, GPF. When I say have some success of coaching athletes, I'm also talking about their pupils have some success in the international circuit as well. Of course Brian immediately comes to mind. As well as his partner in coaching crime Tracy Wilson who's a Olympic Bronze medalist herself. I'm keeping an eye out for Deniss Vasiljevs and how he develops to see if Stephane Lambiel can be included on this list. Yao Bin can't be included because coming in dead last at the Olympics does not make you a successful athlete. Speaking of Yao Bin, Zhao Hongbo has some success following on the work started by Yao Bin with the current Chinese Pairs including Sui/Cong, Yu/Zhang. Aliona's former partner Robin Szolkowy has some success in coaching for Tarasova/Morozov, Danankova/Enbert, and Zabiaako/Enbert, but I'm not sure how much of that success can be credited to him since the primary coach is Nina Mozer and he seems to only work with them for a short period of time. Plushy can't be included since none of his students are successful internationally or had reached their success prior to being coached by him. I could have sworn Daisuke Takahashi is a coach now (along with everything else he's doing) but I couldn't find out any information on his students. Anyone else you can think of?
  12. He's got a whole industry built around him.
  13. I thought Misha Ge announced his retirement. He's #13 Also thought Kegan retired as well and he's #22. Not sure if Voronov retired yet. Daddy Mura retired didn't he? He's #35 Now I definitely read somewhere that Paul Fenz retired and he's listed as #37 Elijah Balde DEFINITELY retired and he's #66 This exclusion makes no sense!
  14. http://www.isuresults.com/ws/ws/wsmen.htm Where is Patrick Chan? I've looked at this list three times and just can't seem to find him.
  15. Yuzu-sama is just a polite form of Yuzu-san. Not very personalized for a nickname.
  16. I think it's DNA and the amount of calories expended during exercise. Judging by seeing his mom, being lightly built and slim is in his DNA.
  17. Do they go by current world standing for the GP assignments or just for the 2018 World Championship ranking? I'm asking to see if there will be match ups against Nathan and Shoma prior to GPF?
  18. Japanese are very conscious about cleaning up after themselves. You won't find many garbage cans in Japan, but you also won't find much litter either. I recently travelled back from abroad and ended up holding my plastic cup full of ice for a 2 hours train ride because I won't be that bad foreigner that litters. Edit: I forgot to add the important part, I'm on a 2 hours train ride with a huge luggage and a heavy backpack and I was STILL holding on to that empty cup. Nabe is a light soup popular during winter times. It usually includes lots of napa cabage, onions, and really thin slices of pork. Soup base are usually miso or ginger, etc.
  19. I don't think they toss Pooh's for gala shows. I think there are bins you can deposit your gift into instead.
  20. I can't believe it's been one year! Thanks to all the mods and people who made this possible and made this a Yuzu-topia.
  21. https://planethanyu.com/topic/3-general-yuzuru-chat/?page=3305 Page 3305. Is that a misquote or something? Like I said I couldn't find the original post other than what was in Michaelis' quoted post. Edit: maybe the formatting made it look like a quote from you and it should have been addressed to Michaelis. Sorry for the confusion!
