  1. Hey yuzupon, we think it's a good suggestion, but we're not sure about the implications of having a "drama" thread. We feel airing out frustrations and then moving on is probably healthier for everyone than to create a thread where people can stew in it for a long time. Yes there are always moments where people overreact at the same time but we'll try to do a better job of moderating and moving posts (i.e. posts that were more about US Nats and less about Yuzu) in the future.
  2. I am doing tango stops 90% of the time now in order to practice them. For an emergency stop I will always do a snowplow, and when going fast I start with a t-stop if I'm not feeling secure enough to do a tango stop. But tango stops are difficult for me mentally (I skid sometimes and almost trip over it). I always start stopping like 5 feet away from where I want to stop (i.e. the wall) and then I end up stopping like 3 feet from the wall and then I have to skate to the wall lol
  3. Yeah I am going to take the pre-bronze test unfortunately the slots were full for Feb so I have to take them in March. I don't know what the basic skills courses are, but you can test pre-bronze MitF anytime I'm pretty sure as long as you're ready. And @guitarist is correct about what's on the test!
  4. Guys we don't need to worry about Yuzu
  5. .....oooh lala And johnny looks the least like a saint LOL same with plushenko I don't think Yuzu likes them for being angels
  6. I moved the posts about Nathan to Team USA. Although any posts also about Yuzu can stay here. Thanks
  7. Moving this to Team USA because it's getting OT for the GYC now... Anyway...is that what's happening? Adam is trying to take Johnny's job? I guess Ashley is trying to take Tara's job now that she's commentating for Euros as "practice" for bigger events? I guess there's only so many positions for a retired figure skater in commentating eh.
  8. Surprisingly my backward CW crossovers which were usually the worst are now much better and my weakest ones are now the forward CW crossovers My coach said my crossovers are the weakest of all the elements in the pre-bronze MitF test (something Americans take lol)
  9. On a lighter(?) note...this is a beautiful photo.
  10. Seems like the right thing to do. If he is guilty, the victims can seek help/compensation. If he is not, then it clears his name. Even though tragically he died it's still important.
  11. @MeowZu @Figure_Frenzy @SuperMin @jinxxoo Moving all of the posts about the SafeSport investigation here from other parts of the forum. As always, please keep discussion respectful and free of speculation, thank you!!
  12. Yeah that's the hard thing about skating. Getting beautiful crossovers with good rhythm and speed might actually take years. But they're like the first thing(s) you learn in figure skating class. They're also the worst things to fall on tbh.
  13. hey me too! to literally everything you mentioned including patella inflammation. I dunno if you read but I wrote something similar: Maybe you need to get your blade adjusted too?
  14. I'm gonna try to layback more the next time I try it btw for yours, it looks great but you should try to not curve/spiral so much while you're in the IB. keep your edge strong or even try to do it on a line and try to follow the line as much as possible
  15. Your ina bauer and spread eagle look pretty!^^ now i want to work on mine, too Here's mine from the last time I filmed it:
