Interesting post-season interview with Kolyada (in Russian). No news, but he is thoughtful and "restrained-optimistic" as usual. He doesn't take offense at TAT for criticizing him. Says he only showed his 75% last season. Tries to stay optimistic instead of criticism in social networks. He is going to USA this summer for "experience exchange": to see another training methods and to show his own ones. http://www.sobaka.ru/city/sport/74454 BTW, very funny and St Petersburg-style photoset.

Proposed changes for next season

I'm sorry to interfere into the discussion, but it seems I was summoned by @Cerunias and @WinForPooh Credit: https://sportymags.wordpress.com/2015/11/29/yuzuru-hanyu-smashing-world-records/ There is also a bigger version, but I have no credit for it -
2018/2019 Season Program Announcements

Oh, I didn't see the link to the article. Checked it now. Yes, Glinka and Molotov will choreograph the short (it's Aliev's team). For the free they have some options to choose. So, although they want to choose the music proposed by TAT, they have to try to choreograph an entire program and see. Most likely, will do it during the summer camp in the second half of June. -

Yes, it's exactly as you're said! Thank you for info. It seems that I missed the info about his short (because the twit says about the free only). TAT seems to be accurate in her music choices, so, hoping for the best. -

Good part: official confirmation that Zhenya is doing well and is back to jumping and TAT said some kind words about Orser: "He is an amazing man! He is the best coach now! Fantastic skaters who are ahead of the time for many years are trained by him now. And if Zhenya is healthy she also will... She will be happy there!" -

So, I shall be able to sleep almost calmly tonight (except rumors about Tarakanova). CSKA is powerful enough to protect Polina. Such a relief. -

Ok, Russian FS fans are already joking about Brian holding Luna for Zhenya. On the serious note, this is the best outcome possible. A big relief. Very happy for Zhenya and really proud. -

This is not an informative comment, but, wow. Life is really more dramatic than any movie. Last time I had this strong sense of unreality when Yuzu won the Olympics. You know, when logically, something was possible, but still too amazing. Zhenya's calmness is astounding. I admire. -

Not sure if it was posted, but TAT actually refused to comment. "I'm hearing this for the first time. You'd better ask Medvedeva and Tutberidze. I won't comment anything". https://www.sports.ru/figure-skating/1062850715.html I think, TAT wants to speak with Eteri and Zhenya first, to understand what's going on. But I'm sure she will comment afterwards. -

What about Christine? But I hope she will cope. At the end of the season, her Swan Lake was much better. -

Alina... It's sad, of course. But trying to find a bright side, I wonder what character she will embody? Don't tell me it will be a mixture, as in Swan Lake. -
And it seems, he really had a lot of fun) Exactly. But these shards of glass are hidden in a pot of the most delicious honey in the world, so that it is impossible to resist the temptation.

You are evil. I really can't watch all the Olympic fluff normally: it is poisoned by my knowledge about painkillers. But I still watch it (just like Boston Requiem). In my language there is an expression used by fans (not sure, figure skating ones or any): "to eat glass" (meaning broken glass pieces). Describes the broken heart of a fan, worried about an athlete, but continuing to read / watch.

Guys, do we have "Papa, can you hear me?" in the Warhorse Bingo? I feel dizzy every time I hear it. -
Oh, jump talks. Of course, Yuzu knows what is the best for him, but as a fan, I really don't want him to leave aside 4 lz. I saw an ideal 4 lz in training in Moscow and it got me. Such a predatory and sharp jump (with a delayed rotation, of course). Diamond drill. I miss it a little bit. But 4 loop by Yuzu is a pure poetry on the ice and in the air. No one can jump it like he. And Nessie Can't choose, I want them all.
