  1. Speaking about red color. I know, I'm acting childish, but let's say I just asked Notre-Dame's blessing for all Yuzu's red costumes whenever he will have any (simple association with almost red costume of Notre-Dame's program). It's not like I have any superstitions about red colour, but I truly believe that love can do everything. So if you are praying sincerely for somebody's happiness, everything will be ok. P.S. I'm sorry, I'm hopeless in origami, even this a bit poor swan took me an hour, not mentioning some practice before. So I can't offer my help for thousand-swan-project, but @Hydroblade thank you so much for an inspiration!
  2. As if an angel had lost his way on the Earth.
  3. You are brave. I only dare to watch it once in all that time. My reaction was exactly as the voice of that woman which can be heard in the K&C. I think, she embodied the feelings of all of us. But, for me, it's also because of this choice to skate no matter what, - he is who he is. Unstoppable.
  4. Personally, I'm simply in love with the gold decorations. Especially in combination with black gloves. It's so royal.
  5. I was thinking about a motivating poster to put over my desk (couldn't choose between different Yuzu's photos and quotations). Now I just can print this one with an inscription "PyeongChang2018: only gold" and put up on the wall. No other motivation needed. He looks so strong and determined here. Almost frightening.
  6. @MurieleirumGreat job! Good luck tomorrow! Yuzu is a true inspiration with any music, but, for me, Swan really brings peace not less than H&L. Perfect choice to calm down! P.S. May I be a bit greedy and ask for the same posts for every programme-dedicated-thread (after your concert, of cause, and except impossible things like Seimei)?
  7. Guys, really, thanks you! I am glad, so many people found something interesting in my story about Helsinki. I was absent for a couple of days because of the defense of my paper, so I hadn't opportunity to answer all your kind messages and questions immediately. I’ll do it now. Sorry, as usual, tremendously long post. Hope not to mix questions and not to forget anybody. @Moria Polonius Wow, you’ve been in Barcelona! It should have been amazing! I think, you are right, it was different type of filings in Helsinki. I only saw it in the recording, but for me in Barcelona it was absolute superiority and sure victory. This year it was more like a fight at maximum capacity. But the truth is that when Yuzu is at maximum capacity he is unbeatable. Yes, he seemed really exhausted. The camera in K&C was kind to him. @kaeryth Think you for your kind words. I'm not sure I've become more brave (it would be great), but I still hope that this experience changed me a bit. @HydrobladeCan wait for your story from Canada! You can be sure to find a careful reader in me at any time. @ruruzest I'm so happy you liked it! I tried to be detailed as it seemed to be a rare experience. Yes, let's hope it will be a performance that will make him happy and satisfied. @Yolo3a Thanks! It's the best compliment! I tried to convey all the feelings I had to share the atmosphere of that unique day. I’m glad you felt it. @Vadrouille I surely will watch him in ACI in streaming. And as usual, I will try to pass some positive energy to him. Anyway, I’m sure you will do the same thing being in the stadium. Actually, it was a lucky exception for me to have an opportunity to go to Helsinki. I was in France, so I had a visa, there were Easter holidays and I had some money as I planned other trip. Normally, I couldn't afford myself a journey like this. But I'm truly lucky this year, as after visiting your hometown, Yuzu would come to mine, Moscow. And I will be there as I finish my studies in Paris. So, I will have an opportunity to cheer up for him in the stadium one more time. @Plumqueen Great that we have the same feelings about that day! Yes, it was like the whole stadium froze and forgot how to breathe. It was all together: curiosity, hope, waiting for miracle, fear. For me the most amazing thing was that such a large number of people can act as one. I think only pure talent as Yuzu can provoke feelings like this. It's a real power. And, yes, it's extremely inspirational. I feel it too.
  8. Hi, guys! I'm deeply sorry, I didn't mean to imitate our dear trolling overlord by promising my story about Helsinki and not telling it. I just wasn't sure anybody would be interested, so I asked my question and went to finish my university paper. Then it took me an eternity to write everything in English. But your "likes" gave me the courage to finish. Thanks! I really wish I could paint or write poems : I would not spam everybody with my endless stories about Yuzu. But I can't. So, it will be a very long story. Actually, it's so long that when I realized it, I made a PDF to not bother you with a tremendous post. Feel free to download. But I’m warning you I have a tendency for you graphomania and my story is full of personal thought and opinions. So, to not bother yourself, you can read only a part where I finally see Yuzu’s performance – I made it in in bold. I just ask you to have mercy for a very emotional girl with poor English whose first life competition ever happened to be WC free skate in Helsinki. Besides, it’s the very precious memories I have. https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B90gUm4gt1YXZTRMZTc0VVIxLTg/view?usp=sharing
  9. Hi, guys! I have a question. Actually, I’ve never been a forum-member before, but I really like this one. I'm here for about three months already, and I really enjoy reading all the posts. Finally, I thought that you all are so kind and love Yuzu so much that you may be interested in my personal experience: by heaven's blessing during the free skate in Helsinki I happened to be in the tribune just above the place where skaters came back from the ice (sorry, my English is too poor to explain it properly, it was near the press-section, if it would make my explanation more clear). So, I saw Yuzu from the very close distance (2-3 meters, I guess?) that legendary day, as, of course, I ran down to cheer up for him after the skate. It’s September already, so I don’t know, if somebody have already shared an experience like this. That's why I decided to ask you all if somebody is interested in any of my memories. You can just ask me any questions if it’s the case. Thanks! )
  10. Насчет регулярно пересматривать - чистая правда. Особенно когда неожиданно обнаруживаешь давно просмотренные, но позабывшиеся почему-то зажигалочки, вроде этой
