In Shoma's case, going by his words, he'll drop the 3S and is training the 4S, so he has a few options, and he could go back to the layout he used in Lombardia Trophy last season, minus 3S and accounting for the backloading changes (4Lo 4S 3A3T 4F // 4T2T 4T 3A1Lo1Eu3F, though he could bring the 3A3T to the bonus?) But it's hard to account for Shoma's layouts, because he might want to attack hard and react to other's layouts as the season goes along.

It's either 4A or 4Lz, but not both for Yuzu, not for a while. This season I expect 4Lo from him and not much else, but we'll see. Remember he's playing catch up and even training 4Lz all summer last season, it was still a super moody jump that was hell on his knee sometimes. This time he has to add in recovery time to his summer so that leaves him less training time, reason why I don't expect him to recover the 4Lz this season. I expect him to want to try 4A more than 4Lz at this point.

Yuzuru is recovering from an injury. Meanwhile other skaters have a lot of time and health to attempt these kind of jumps, which Yuzu doesn't. So it wouldn't surprise me if others land a 4A first in practice or even competition. That's a very good attempt by Keegan. Would be interesting to see it without the harness.

My feeling is BV will matter a lot initially while judges get used to the new GOE scale. They won't be giving skaters +5s even if they nail everything perfectly. It's likely a lot of skaters will be bunched up at +2/+3, which means BV will play a huge role. And consistency, since we know consistency tends to improve GOEs and PCS.

I don't think the issue is us in this forum not being silent if we don't like some of Yuzuru's costumes or programs. I think it may be simply that this isn't the type of forum for you, or at least this thread isn't. It's okay, I'm sure there'll be other places where one can speak only positive things about Yuzu and keep silent whenever they don't like something. There's also the News and Updates section, where there'll be only facts and no opinions.

I guess you take being a fan of someone completely differently from me, and believe a fan forum should be filled with unconditional acceptance. That's not how the world works and much like you believe Yuzuru would be disappointed at finding a forum that has fans of his who criticize some of his choices, I happen to believe he wouldn't like to find only people who say 'yes, amazing!' to everything he does. By the way, I didn't say the costume being horrible was a fact, I said it was okay to say so if one thought it was. I happen to dislike it and so I said so. I'm sorry, Yuzu, that I don't love everything you do or wear, but still love you!

Plus being someone's fan doesn't and shouldn't mean being completely blind to their faults. Wings of Words' costume was terrible, it's okay to say so! I didn't like the song either, so it wasn't a program I appreciated all that much, it happens.

The thought of Yuzu and weight gain is contradictory to me. Guy always looks like he needs a few burgers on him from where I'm watching, even when he has perfectly healthy weight for his constitution.
