Thank you for sharing this! I never knew this long version exist. It's very painful to see this video and people are still debating if he should be allowed to skate. But I think this is one big turning point in his career and as his fans, we could definitely learn a lot from seeing his spirit to fight here and how he didn't just give up. My heart wrenched when he, in that condition was suddenly asking if Han Yan was there... What a personality....

And the interaction between Yuzu and little kids just melts me away He's so good in handling children, isn't he? He'd definitely make a good dad

Hi all! I'm looking for several things: 1. I read someone's post recounting about a video in which Yuzu's school friend commented about him and Yuzu was saying like "don't ruin my image". I've been wanting to see the video but don't know where to look and have no clue where's it from. 2. Does anyone know where this gif is coming from? I've seen this gif in many places but never saw the video itself. Sorry for being a bit vague but thank you for your attention!

I don't know why but I just enjoy the sight of Yuzu in casual clothing especially in jeans because he rarely wears them But topping that with bright coloured t-shirt is just.... He suits bright colours, isn't he? I wish he would wear more colours like this one instead his usual casual black clothing...

Actually I'd like to see him all hyper, no chill, and machine-gun talking for the duration of the show. I want to see how the MC will handle him . That would be extremely entertaining to watch

A bit of random musings... I just finished watching Shoma on Gutto! Sports and I'm bemoaning the fact that to this date Yuzu never appears in variety show-type program instead of talk-show ones. I do like his guesting on Asaichi but I want to see Yuzu do silly stuffs on variety shows and I want him to answer more trivial questions and show his off-ice side. And I think it will be great to see him in game shows like Tokyo Friends Park or VS Arashi where it requires a bit of physical activities but mostly about having fun. He could really show his competitiveness an "hates to lose" side. I remembered Daisuke, Kanako, Nobu and Miki (or is it Akiko?) doing something like this a while ago.

Ogi Mama seems like a huge Yuzu fan But Yuzu's interaction with him is sooo sweet... His reply seems so sincere. Reminds me of how Kiritoru TV always called his reply as Kami taiou (God-like response). No wonder many became his fans (including us!)

I think the reason why only male skaters were invited was because the show want to highlight local talents (local girls who also trained in Sendai Rink). You can see them in the opening and closing I find it really sweet that they want the girls to be more prominent in the show, though... Other female skaters have many opportunities to shine but for these girls, not as many.

This reminds me of a joke he made during an interview. The interviewer said he's a genius of facial expression (表情 hyōjō) and he promptly answered only on ice (氷上 hyōjō, same reading different meaning) Regardless of his tendency to make a dad joke, he's quick in making this kind of reply

Thank you for sharing this! I never came across this particular video. Quite an interesting insight (Yuzuru Hanyu museum? Heck yeah I'll come! ) Even at 15 years old he was quite level-headed, wasn't he? I always wonder how those people who interviewed him when he was small think now that he's becoming one of the greatest skaters of all time

Just read back this thread and saw Yuzu is doing all FaOI :yay: :yay: :yay: Finally! Something to keep us occupied in this off-season!!!! Hoping for cute Yuzu-Nobu PR (and them bullying Shoma :devil: ) and of course Yuzu attempting crazy combos (but please take care of yourself Yuzu, I beg you)

I'm pretty sure he could pull off anything) But my picks are H&L: the blings, the colour gradient Notte Stellata: loving the rhinestone detailing and the deep 'v' Etude: love the different coloured sleeves and the gradient The Final Time Traveller: really like the detailing on this one

I think with Yuzu we are spoilt for choice really... Yuzu had so many great programs over his career, I had a hard time choosing just 3 but in the end I chose: H&L: I firstly like H&L because of the music (I love Joe Hisaishi) but the program itself is very mesmerizing... It really shows his maturity as a skater Note Stellata: Just like H&L this program might be on 'quiet' side and not dramatic but gosh... The costume, the way he moves across the ice, the magical delayed axel... Just so beautiful Requiem: I admit that I like this solely for the Boston 2016. Everytime I see it I feel like crying because Yuzu poured everything that he had on that skate Other than that I also love RJ1, Seimei, LGC, PW, Hana wa Saku, Hana ni Nare
