    I also don't have a problem with backloading if choreo suits the music. At least for now, when there're not so many skaters doing it, with more juniors coming up to seniors with backloaded programmes at can become a problem, but skaters shouldn't be punished for it cuz they're just following the rules. If backloading will bother ISU they can say in the rules that at least 20-30% of jumps should be in the first half and that's it.

    Def. cute Some of other Japanese I know (one of my teachers and a Japanese girl who studies Russian here) also sound good, they don't have very thick accent. And about the fans - we kinda didn't expect anything from him so were just happy

    One of the best moments of CoR, still swooning over it (I was standing right next to where the video was taken - near the door). You can say Russian fans where persistent (it was a second attempt )

    I feel like classics suits Shoma and he feels the music, the choreo not being interesting mostly is a problem. I liked his 2015-16 SP but he himself struggled with it, Loco I liked a lot it had good arm movements + good highlights. But it will be interesting to know to what kind of music he would like to skate himself

    I already made peace with the fact that Yuzu can jump perfect in warm-up and mess up later in the comp I think during comp it's harder to jump in terms of concentration and timing than a stand alone jump also he messed with 4Lo quite a lot during OPs and RTs so it's not like it was a surprise (4S though...)

    I'm only talking about my own impression, but it's hard to compare jumps when they're not in the same competition, hope to see both at GPF already

    Funnily enough Yuzu jumped great 4Lo during FS warm-up at CoR right after the announcer introduced him. Maybe it was hard to concentrate on it after the tough 4Lz landing during FS. Hope it'll behave better at NHK already.

    Boyang's lutz has insane height - it really stands out compared to his other jumps, I think Kolyda is closest to him in that aspect (when he lands it), Yuzu's lutz is light and pretty but not that much height, I think it's more or less like his other quads in that term, Nate's is ok, but nothing spectacular (not that can make you go"wow!). Yuzu has great high in his 3A especially when it's the first jump in practice.

    I wanted to see rippon combo a lot, but uh, not this time, still the stsq was magical I made peace with silver pretty fast, especially Gala healed my soul in a best way possible

    Yeah, during stsq people strated clapping to the rythm (it's hard not to) the clapping becomes even a little louder then music so public tries to turn it down in the second half I think. But the music sounds great and clean at the arena. Winners were taking pictures? Still didn't saw it

    No, really, poor Brian, seeing him jumping at the boards through the whole skate, I don't know how he survived this far Really after SP it was already a great pooh-rain, but after FS it was crazy I think no (only at the day GPF SP I think there will be a lot of flowers ). I heard that in Japan it's allowed to throw stuff only from lower stands and smb. said to me it's forbidden from behind the judges stands.
