I'm happy someone posted that. I was there yesterday too but I'm clueless about posting photos. The nemophila looks lovely and the area was much bigger than I thought it was going to be. The last very few 🌸 were pretty. There were a few people around taking photos. It was a lovely sunny day like today. Sendai looks beautiful with all the trees and a lot of blossom is still around. Yuzu's tree seems to be an early bloomer like him.

I went to SOI last night. When I planned this trip to Japan I didn't think I would be lucky enough to see Yuzu at all let alone twice with NS and now SOI. I proudly wore my GIFT boa blouson and we were surrounded by fanyus. There were a number of people wearing or carrying GIFT and Prologue merchandise. The atmosphere at the beginning and when he did his solo was electric. No need to tell you how wonderful his performance was. It was so nice to see him being playful with Jason and spontaneously enjoying himself.

I went to see this exhibition the other day in Yokohama. Besides these photos there were half a dozen large beautifully presented photos of Yuzu. As soon as a staff member realized I was there mainly to see Yuzu she came rushing over to make sure I saw them all. So nice of her. There were a lot of great photos in the exhibition but none more beautiful than Yuzu.

I had the privilege of being at a live viewing on Saturday and then attending the show yesterday. As you all know the Saturday show was so very emotional. I had no idea what he was saying at the end but the emotion was very obvious and the lady sitting next to me started sobbing which intensified it. So very moving. Yesterday we were lucky enough to have lower seats in the center of the short end and Yuzu began his collaboration program right in front of us. The tension and energy throughout the program was electric. Fantastic. The atmosphere at the end when he started dancing was joyful and hopeful and such a contrast to the day before, just as Yuzu wanted it to be. Two days that will live long in my memory.

It is 2023 where I live and Yuzu appeared a minute into the new year. Couldn't ask for a better start. Happy New Year everyone.

In singles the top 18 skaters will automatically go straight into the main competition so they will only do the SP and one FS. The skaters below that will have to do a qualifying FS and the top 12 from that will make up the 30 skaters who will do the competition proper. It has been bought back so that smaller federations can get their skaters to Worlds. The minimum score will be the same as Euros/4CC so lower than the present Worlds minimum which is too difficult for a lot of skaters to reach.

I had yuzu salt on fish in a restaurant in Kanazawa and it was delicious. I couldn't find it in a supermarket in Japan though and neither could a Japanese friend.

I live in kiwifruit country and my brother and nephew have kiwifruit orchards. Green kiwifruit got the PSA virus a few years ago so more gold than green is grown now. There is also a red one which we rarely see here as it's more for export. I wish they would grow yuzu too as it's very hard to find here. Yuzu ice cream is oishii. Sorry
