May 6, 20179 yr I finally sat down and watched this interview. I got teary at some point during the video when he received that standing ovation at the first ice show he did after the earthquake. The 3/11 tsunami might been a blessing in disguise in a sense that it made in mature and made him realize how much he loved the sport and how important it is to him. Like Matsuoka said, it's impossible not to like him and support him. And his smile!! So cute ^^
May 6, 20179 yr Hi all. In celebration of a new forever home for Yuzuru fans worldwide (thank you so much for doing this), I thought I'd post this here, if allowed, as a little house-warming gift. I did this a few months back and had nowhere to post it and so did it on my WP blog...which is more of a personal output dump than anything. I don't actually know the name of this program (though I know it's a rather regular one) so if someone could enlighten me, I'll gladly edit the name of the thread.(edited 17/5/2, with a big thank you to Dara) I watched this interview when it aired on Houdou Station. This time I had to skip the part where he talks about the earthquake. It made me a little too emotional. 60 shows to inspire others and have a little training time! :cry: There are so many precious Yuzu interviews. I am grateful these are being translated. I just love how bold and gutsy he is! Going to Stephane Lambiel and saying advice please! Great interview! Thanks for sharing! :hachimaki: This particular Yuzu smiley reminds me very much of Mr. Shuzo Matsuoka (the man interviewing Yuzu on this video).

His commitment towards his goals (and what goals!), his impressive understanding of the tech of this sport, his charming personality...both bold and adorable.
