I think they've had some injury issues as well, but they're coming along. This FS was better than at SkAm. 

Last group

1-  Miura/Kihara really stand out with their speed and flow. Unfortunate minor mistakes, I hope they will improve on them. Riku seems nervous. 

2-Mishina/Galliamov: I don't see the connection between the two parts of the music and I hate their Euler. Less posing than in the SP but there is still so much of those, it annoys me.

3- Other groups: No impression. 

 

PS: Are Miura/Kihara qualified for the final? 

Loved Riku & Ryuichi again, and it was nice to see how excited he was in the K&C. 

 

Mishima & Galliamov's closing pose, though...They're literally conveying the message 'we are Victory personified'. It's not subtle. 

 

I love Tarasova & Morozov's music. 

 

 

What's with all the drippy grey costumes, though? It's like the pairs version of the men's singles in solid black...

Misato and Tim are so lovely. I'm spellbound. What a beautiful program.

Grouchy now. I don't want M/T to succeed, but that free dance was really good. 

 

Still though...

I know next to nothing about ice dance technicalities but I enjoyed both FDs by Team Japan at NHK

Watched the first group of dancers, it seems like Dai is going to end at the Olympics yet again. Though Misato and Tim were spellbinding. 
Riku and Ryuichi might have been helped a bit in their score, but that was still a strong skate. The pressure is getting to them though. Stand strong, guys, you’re fantastic! 

I love this program from Zach and Marjorie...it's so different and fun.

 

Mark really does his research. He knows all the things about the athletes, even the non-skating stuff. It's a refreshing change.

H/K. I'm still not feeling it with these two. 

Fear and Gibson doing a fabulous job. Some issues on the twizzles but the closing hydroblade was amazing.

I love this dance, the concept is amazing.

I rarely see ice dancers having fluke falls.
