Years ago Somone posted a newspaper clipping of Yuzu's father receiving money from a regional representative. I think the post mentioned that people from Tohoku had raised money so that Yuzu could continue skating after the earthquake. Yuzu's gratitude to the region is born from genuine affection for the people and what they did for him. I only saw the clipping in one post. So it may not have been about Yuzu but about his father and his father's work as a teacher. The newspaper was a local publication.

Does anyone else remember seeing it?
