I'm pretty sure Real Face costume is a jumpsuit as well :scratch3:

I think the hoodie is separate or somehow it detaches from the costume. I think the tank-top underneath is sewed in with the pants, so that's the jumpsuit. I don't know who the costume designer is this time (maybe Satomi, maybe not), but I think that even if it's a full jump-suit (the hoodie undetachable) then they are very sneaky on how they places zippers/ways of fastening it up.

Ohh, I agree, the hoodie is probably detachable.

There's not a lot of glitter on either RF or Raison costume (though only by Yuzuru's standards :rofl3:) and the designs are relatively simple, which made me think he used another designer this time, but maybe Satomi just didn't have enough time do create more intricate designs.

There is a real art to performance costume making, the design, light but durable fabrics, fastenings, embellishments. So many considerations to create a beautiful piece of clothing that doesn't restrict movement yet still is able to project a particular character image.

Sstomi Ito, Shizuka Orihara are immensely talented.

There was a comment about the crystals, as many of Yuzu's costumes have thousands applied for maximum impact during the performance.

Swarovski have invented a revolutionary manufacturing process for creating crystals with all of the scintillation but only half of the weight compared with the original crystals. Yuzu and other skaters, dancers and gymnasts can have enchanting costumes without being as heavily weighed down.

A Chinese fabric manufacturer have invented an ultra fine lightweight chiffon/ organza fabric, perfect for floaty ruffles, fabric flowers, butterflies etc

I'm very envious of satellites who were able to attend exhibitions where Yuzu's costumes have been on display. I would really enjoy examining the details of these wearable works of art

To pass the time while waiting for the cursed assignments, I have a very important question.

How does Yuzu's LMEY costume get put on? Like where is the zipper?

In between the shoulder blades, down to where the studs end, there's a zipper. But the "shallow" height makes me think that's impossible to put on and take off the costume just by unzipping that tiny part. The rest of the back is smooth - this is a screenshot taken from this video  around the 16:25-16:30 min mark - the back can be better seen when the video is playing.

I started this conversation with someone and their theory is that there's another zipper running down Yuzu's leg, but it could also just be a trick of the light.

Does anyone have an answer to this?

My theory is that Yuzu's costumes are made of smaller single pieces that, at his command, fly to him, assemble themselves on his body, and then seamlessly attach themselves to each other, like Iron Man's suits. :10814716:

Never mind me. This whole waiting for the assignments hasn't been good for my nerves. :13877886:

"Accio costume - incants name of specific costume"

Oooh... and then a swarm of tiny winged Poohs fetch the little pieces of costumes and use honey magic to assemble them on Yuzu's body. No wonder his costumes always look like they hug every single centimeter of his skin and every single one of his curves. :tumblr_inline_mqt4grU8ua1qz4rgp:

(btw, everyone should refrain in buying tickets before assignments unless they’re cheap like SCI, but that’s my opinion)
