Antis will slander him because he is breathing so I won't give them time but I loved that he mentioned the two Olyimpic golds. Call me bad but that's how I feel (and I'm not as good as Yuzu, not even half as good. Sorry not sorry). So yes, let's remind them that you are a two time Olyimpic "renpa" champion because a lot of people seems to have forgotten that.

Did Yuzu cry/tear up a bit during the post gala interview? I read one such comment and I'm hoping I saw it wrong.

 

What I did notice is that I always seem to find him less happy when he's masked but that's obviously because I can't see any smile!

I'm not sure if this has been brought up before, but after listening to Javier's comments about Yuzuru's SP, I totally understand why fanyus no longer like him. I'm fuming. Even if he did think that Yuzuru was trying to come up with an excuse for the popped Sal (which he did not as we all know), why on earth would he go and try to tarnish his friend's reputation on TV? And then he has the guts to say he'd like to do an iceshow with Yuzuru? Does he think it's okay to blaspheme Yuzuru in Spanish since he won't be able to understand it... Answering my own message but... maybe it was just during the Tzuzuki segment? Which means even if Yuzu teared up it was likely happy tears because Tzuzuki was being nice & supportive?!

He did tear up a bit during Tzuzuki message and it was happy tears.

To me, he is in good mood, needs time to process everything but is already moving ahead. Actually, he is the one who is helping me to go through it as well

 

On other note, wow no words on Javi. I unfollowed him in Instagram. Nothing is worse than a friend backstabbing. sigh~

Thank you so much for confirming!😍 I was surprised cause he does really seem very happy so it was at odds with all the videos I had seen.

Honestly, now I understand why Yuzu keeps many things private and avoids close friendships with a lot of skaters, especially at TCC. You will never know when they will stab you in the back. I dare to say this, I rather never ever see the Spanish Guy close to Yuzu in any ice shows, milking money out of that fake friendship. 

It seems Beijing happened so true colors could shine better.

on a less negative note i was thinking how cool it would be for iris van herpen to design a costume for yuzuru! or any figure skater really, her designs in motion are just stunning 

here's an example! 

she really focuses on the science of couture too, so im sure she would be able to make something to meet the standards required of figure skating costumes

Anyway, I think Javi's choice of words and the way he openly said these on live TV are inappropriate.

As for what kind of person he really is, or how Yuzu really thinks about him -- I'll never know, but that doesn't matter. Yuzu knows best.

Welp......ridiculous. first Misha exposed himself as fake, now this....ugh. oh well. At least Yuzuru SEEMS better....i'm not going to bother on anyone else. I already knew he was it for me in figure skating. This just reaffirms my choice to be done when Yuzuru is done, too. Yuzuru gets my support and energy. The rest arent worth it.

 

It really is no secret that FS is a "mean girls" sport by and large. So this isnt surprising.

What Fernandez said is not surprising in the least to anyone who has read/listened to his interviews (especially those in Spanish) for the Spanish/western press vs his interviews for Japanese media for years. It was pretty clear long time ago how two faced and bitter he is and tbh to me he reeked of envy re: Yuzu's popularity and monetary gains in particular. I mean the man has literally said they are not friends/not close,but fs fandom loves to romanticize skaters and the ~friendships~ between them,a term that is used super loosely.

 

The figure skating world has always been an environment full of snakes,envy,bitterness,nastiness,abuse etc and now ppl are ShOcKEd when they are slowly,but surely confronted with these realities. There is a reason why Yuzuru has kept himself very distant from these ppl,but gullible fans see two skaters interacting for whatever reason for a few moments and decide they are Bffs for life despite there being very little evidence to it,on the contrary even when there's actually proof that such friendships/closeness doesn't really exist.

 

I'm sorry,but i do want Yuzu to see this. It will hurt maybe (altho i kind of think that he already knows Fernandez's deal by now,B*ston was a taste of this and he surely realized some things then),but it is necessary to be fully aware of how some ppl really are and to really stay away from them. There must be some fairly decent folks among the figure skaters too ofc,but only naive ppl can think that there are many real friendships especially at the top between ppl who are competing in the same discipline.

 

Fanyus should understand that in such a world Yuzuru is gonna attract insane jealousy and bitterness bc he really is THE ONLY ONE who actually has amazing career accomplishments combined with big monetary gain and the cherry on top is the massive unprecedented adoration he receives from fans. Even in other environments that would be enough to bring out the worst in ppl,and it's particularly to be expected in figure skating world. There's a reason why they say it's lonely at the top.

 

There's a special place in hell for those who kick you when you're down,i want fanyus to never forget what this man did when his mask was off. Fernandez is officially cancelled BYE

Me and literally everybody I know watches FS and the Winter Olympics for Yuzuru only...like literally I’m 24 years old and just realized there’s more winter sports than just snowboarding and skiing and weirdly enough curling.

 

im not ready for the so called “drought/dry” season... 

 

ive never cried as hard in ages as when I saw his performance last night and when he said thank you, omg..my heart...

 

what do I even do with my life now???

when is he performing or competing next?
