  1. 私もそう思います。羽生くんは楽しんでいるように見えます。 Fujioさん、アップありがとうございます!
  2. This is hilarious!!!I feel like I'm looking at a Databook for some of my favorite manga. Naruto in particular. Many a shipping war used databook relationship charts as "evidence" or lack thereof for a good 12 years. I hope this person knows what can of worms they're opening.
  3. I want this one so badly as a post card!
  4. Okay just bringing the general chat discussion here to liven up the place. So yeah I'd love to see if he could do either the piano version of full version of Omnis Lacrima from Final Fantasy XV. It's dramatic, powerful, and has really nice arrangements that could make it suitable for a skating program right outside of the box. Not too much tinkering required I think. I mean seriously jumps timed to the cymbals. Great spin sequence at 1:45. Epic footwork at 3:10. The program Writes. Its. Self. The piano version is wonderful too and definitely within his means to perform. And I also really like Lindsey Stirling so I'd love to see her stuff skated to one day. This one in particular: And for good measure I've always been a fan of the ending theme for FFX which is a full orchestral version of To Zanarkand: Yay me, finally getting some stuff on the board!
  5. I wouldn't mind Scars of Time from Chrono Cross. But I think it'd be better as a short to avoid being repetitive. I actually think this could be a good one for Jason. Could revive his Riverdancy mojo a little. You are right but doesn't have have to do with his name? ETA: I love that this board automatically merges posts when you double post!
  6. The beginning for OWA is a bit frantic, but I think it settles in better later. But the beginning IS where you gotta establish the character which can be riskier. I'm still partial to Omnis myself for this reason (though I am a party of one, I know ) because it doesn't really require a character to live up to. But I think Yuzu can pull it off if he is committed and if it has the right type of choreography.
  7. You'll likely get your wish, though I don't really see why classical style video game music can't be skating music. I'll swear by Omnis and the Zanarkand theme till I die, not necessarily for him but for skating in general . I would rather see people skating to new stuff than the same recycled pieces over and over again when there is perfectly suitable material elsewhere.
  8. What's so different from that and R&J 1 though in terms of style? Also, if he did One-Winged Angel I actually like this version because it sounds best suited for skating and current compared to the vintage one (and then the more current rock one takes away the dramatic effect for me).
  9. I like it too honestly, though I want the original version for maximum drama. If Yuzu does it I am okay with it. He'll have the right expression for me to make a Omnis Lacrima montage later. I mean seriously though, I listened to the song again and it's just made for skating. Jumps timed to the cymbals. Great spin sequence at 1:45. Epic footwork at 3:10. The program Writes. Its. Self. If he did One-Winged Angel he would be trending worldwide for it. I guarantee you. Imagine it. Would he dye is hair white and slick it back? Where would the iconic angel wing be placed on the costume? We KNOW it'll be blinged up. I'm having too much fun with this in my head.
  10. I'm late here at work because of this, I need to get home and work on school work nap first I haven't checked out the music thread here because I feel like it'd be a black hole and I'd never come out, but I DID say I wanted him to bring the drama. If it's actually Carmina Burana... I guess that's the closest to Omnis Lacrima I'm gotta get. But that's why I like Omnis. Dramatic like Burana, but not the same and certainly not overused (more like never used and probably never will be ) and it's a perfect length for a free skate. No need to shave down an hour or so of material!
  11. Can someone so kindly link me to the GS prediction thread this person could be referring to? *bites nails*
  12. I swear my heart grew these sizes this day. Jeff has a lot to do with how I became a Yuzuber. PW caught my eye and I never looked back. Jeff is a master at bringing out the mad skillz Yuzu has . Two talents. Too much for me! Welp, skate gods, there you have it. Please be the awesome skate gods you are and keep the trend going for our and fierce and sweet cinnamon roll.
  13. I had the loveliest surprise when I got home from class last night. I made some Japanese friends in Helsinki and we have been keeping in touch. And so I check my mailbox, see that I have a package from one of them, and it turns out to be this: I didn't ask for it. I didn't expect to see it, but here it is. Helsinki just keeps on giving. I was in NYC the other weekend and I visited Kinokuniya in hopes to get a magazine as a wonderful souvenir from Worlds. I picked up two (including the one that greeted me at the entrance...that's my kinda store), but they weren't Ice Jewels! I'm just so surprised and happy. I was up late looking at the gorgeous pictures and reading a little bit of the other articles. I swear the Yuzuru fandom has some of the most kindest and generous people I've ever met!
  14. Well, I did ask what else he had to do while midair to get the full GOEs he deserved from the judges at Worlds. I mean, I guessed he probably needed to do his taxes while up there, but maybe it'd be this, even if it's bad.
  15. Well, Med is also a horrible singer if that karaoke clip with her and Wakaba in Tokyo is anything to go by. Sometimes we can't be great at everything and that's O.K. But both should keep their day jobs.
  16. Montreal is close enough for me to go whether he attends or not. Unless after I graduate I end up landing a job in Japan. Then of course I wouldn't be able to go . It wouldn't be the same without him, but it also wouldn't be as nerve-wracking.
  17. If he brings back Seimei I hope it's to different cuts, like with R&J. The only thing is I preferred R&J 1 to R&J 2, so I hope I would like the new Seimei as much as the first, if not more. I'm still a little ambivalent because I think I have some PTSD from Boston Worlds (I only attended the free skates so my first time watching Hanyu was with a disaster). Of course he more than made up for that in Helsinki for me, but still. I'll be in the house either way. In other news, Worlds will be in Montreal in 2020! W00t! I'll try to make that one!
  18. LOL I think the wax figure gets a bad rap, it's really not that bad . The only thing is, it's on a raised platform and he's not standing straight so even still it's hard to tell. I'm 5'7 (170 cm) and I had to look up at the figure quite a bit.
  19. Thank you everyone regarding my ava! I re-uploaded per suggestions and I can see it once again. The banner is back to normal too . If Yuzu feels we haven't seen the best of Chopin then I look forward to him showing us what he intends to show. And please do it during Men's Singles SP night to make up for my missing it in person at worlds, Yuzu (followed by a winning long at that please).
  20. Is it just me or did the banner become grainy? Also, can anyone else see my ava?
  21. Updated Yuzu Profile on TV Asahi. They have a typo though listing him as '18 World Silver Medallist. No thank you, all gold all the time next season, please. http://www.tv-asahi.co.jp/figure-gp/2017/players/singleM/y-hanyu.html
