They are actively seeking to enhance their own skills, recognising and learning from mistakes is an important aspect of practice so that a person can examine an element where improvement can be made. Thus the resulting performance is elevated to a remarkable level. This is really impressive.

    Concur and inspiration can be shared between all the people in the conversation/discussion. That is the beauty of interesting discussion, people take ideas away with them and then think and consider those tiny idea seeds, some grow and others not so much. Yuzu will be Emperor of the Ice for many more years. It is an exciting and fascinating prospect that there may already be proto ideas in that galaxy brain to be worked on when there is time or if Yuzu feels the inclination to expand his world further. Side note: There were videos of Kohei Uchimura showing some of his skills on the pommel horse during a practice session with Team Japan gymnasts at the World championships in Antwerp, just last week. Yep he is still an amazing athlete, retirement is just a word and in not always irreversible. Although it looks as if working with the team but not competing himself is making him happy

    Story board about Yuzu finding his own wings. ANA helped Yuzu fly when he first moved to Seniors and have helped through the great times and also when he needed a little more support. Fans will support Yuzu going forward, as they always have. Maybe for Yuzu and his sponsors it is farewell for now rather than goodbye Yuzu can soar so high into the brightest future

    Concur, perhaps there isn't another skating like Yuzu. Having the will to keep exploring possibilities, learning and assimilating information is a mark of intelligence. Yuzu demonstrates time and again how intelligent and intellectually curious he is. Meeting people who are essentially his peers in terms of performing arts - Musicians like Shinya san and Katsudo san, concert pianists and other instrumental soloists, Koichi san - actor, Tetsuko san - well she is extraordinary in many spheres of performing excellence, Gen san singer song writer- just naming a few off the top of my head. All of these people have been fascinating to watch when they perform and for Yuzu the interesting, thought provoking discussions that they have had are really great to watch. Working with Mikiko san and seeing the dance ensemble Elevenplay must also have provided a lot of ideas and inspiration. Yuzu has been exposed to a new vista of wonderful genres in performance and it is clear he has made the most of the experience to consider what he might like to explore and incorporate into his own performances. Yuzu is most certainly liberated from the constraints of competitive programmes in terms of programme length and components which must be included for scoring purposes. It is brilliant to see. Quite honestly, like many fans, just waiting with great anticipation to discover what Yuzu will bring to the ice in future. Cannot wait for Re_Pray only 18 days to go !!!! (Ready, not ready )

    Yuzu is truly inspired. So glad that he has confidence to really innovate and explore the realm of expression through movement.
